This was our first time eating here and we dined with another couple at a table at the bar. The place was quite busy and the service was still spot on. Our salads, food and drinks were awesome and I definitely recommend people coming here to eat at night. A reservation would almost be a must I would think. They are that good.

We haven’t been to an Italian restaurant that we liked in a long time. My wife found Denovellis while looking for a place to eat and they had great reviews so we figured we would try it. From the call for reservations until we paid the check and walked out was an amazing experience. It was a Friday and the place was packed but we were able to make reservations and get in rather quickly. We started with the Arancini, which was the best we’ve ever had. We had the Chicken di Nonna and the Chicken Enzo, both were absolutely delicious. The service was top notch and the atmosphere, albeit busy, was like stepping into an Italian family home for dinner. If I could give them six stars I would, we will definitely be back!!!

I found this restaurant on Google. It was easy to access from the interstate. What a gem! From the hosts to the managers, all the team members, and diners, this felt seriously like Cheers. When I mentioned this to the woman who took care of me in the lounge, she said indeed it feels like an Italian Cheers. She's so right. The people working at the bar knew everyone's names. It was such a lovely, warm, welcoming feeling. So much joy at diners greeting those they were meeting and friends they just ran into.
Great place. Definitely recommend Denovellis as a stop or a destination unto itself.

I keep it simple at Denovellis. I like the Spaghetti with meat sauce and 🍷. I also like the Rigatoni Primavera for a lighter fare right after work in the mid-afternoon.

The salads are delicious, especially paired with Grilled Shrimp 🍤 and ALWAYS, ALWAYS get the House Balsamic Vinaigrette.

DeNovellis Family Restaurant is a great place to go for a delicious and affordable Italian meal. To start with they gave us bread with olive oil. We had penne vodka and fettuccini Alfredo for entree. Clam chowder soup was the best. Definitely would recommend this place

3.9.23 Superb service all around. And the food is amazing. We had bread, cheese, marinated peppers, seafood apps, soup, salad, veal, chicken, pistachio cake. We changed the regular sauce to this spicy peppered one and it was divine. Great food.

For starters - this place was an incredible find.
We arrived for our reservation early - Noreen our waitress was just finishing up with a party and allowed up to take a seat - we had a party of 8. Noreen had an incredible sense of humor made us feel like we were apart of her family.

The food and service was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. My Italian in-laws even approved.
Order the Blue Hawaiian and tell them Diane sent you!

Make a reservation - This place got busy fast!

Got the penne vodka and it was incredibly tasty. Would recommend getting reservations as this place gets packed. We weren't aware of how busy they got but was able to get a table with a very short wait time (<10min).

Party of seven had a wonderful dinner. The portions were on the large size with doggie bags for several of us. I had the pork chop with prosciutto and sun dried tomato which was very tasty. Our server was experienced and knowledgeable of the menu

We don’t go anywhere else for Italian food! The best of the best! Great staff, beautiful location and the most amazing staff. One of our favorite places!

It had been a long time since I have been out to dinner and never had a complaint about a single thing. Everything was delicious! I love mushrooms. I had the stuffed mushroom caps as an appetizer, very highly recommended!
The prices are reasonable for the quality and the service.
Planning on going again soon.

DeNovellis Family Restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants in the greater Hartford area!! The space is comfortable and relaxed, and makes you feel right at home! The food is extraordinary and it starts with their homemade focaccia bread served with roasted sweet peppers and provolone! Next up was their complementary house salad, highly recommend their Parmesan peppercorn and house dressings. The main courses are all top notch thanks to their wonderful sauces my personal favorite is the chicken Di nona that is stuffed with ricotta and spinach topped with mozzarella in a pesto vodka sauce that is unbelievable. The chicken deNo is another chart topper and served in a decadent sherry cream sauce. Highly recommend!!

Seafood medley special did not disappoint the other night. A little cream coconut cayenne gravy with a pile of fresh seafood over that thin pasta... Perfect end to the evening.

I miss having a DeNovellis near me, so I went to Rocky Hill for dinner one evening. The same great recipes that I love still fill the menu and the staff are still kind and attentive.

Absolutely fantastic - we were recommended to go here by family, so, we went today. When we got seated, we were greeted with some bread, which was fresh as can be, with some roasted peppers (delicious) and cheese. If that wasn't enough, we ordered a few appetizers, would absolutely recommend the calamari and wings!

Personally, I ordered the penne di vodka, prosciutto and bacon definitely made this dish perfect.

Overall, service was great, staff was very helpful and clean. Would recommend!

Great local Italian restaurant with fantastic food and service. Plan a reservation at peak times. We walked in at just after 5 pm and were able to sit down. My daughter had the mozzarella sticks and fettuccine Alfredo and thought both were cheesy and delicious. My mother had the shrimp scampi with a salad and struggled to finish the pasta. She said the shrimp were perfectly prepared and seasoned. I had the special surf and turf, which was a veal T-bone and sauteed scallops. Everything was perfectly cooked and tender. I had my daughter try a bite of the scallops and she thought they were great whereas in the past she had over that we rubbery. The whole place has a family, cozy feel. The servers were very attentive to drinks and our food. Please try this place if you're in the mood for great Italian in Rocky Hill.

De' Novellis was recommended by a colleague for our work group. Everything was excellent. Service seated us right away and refilled drinks regularly. Atmosphere is like an old school Italian restaurant which I loved. Every dish that my 6 person group ordered was fantastic. I highly recommend the rigatoni Mezzo Mezzo, or the chicken Nona.

Loved anything about it and genuinely appreciated how our server attended to us. She was "attentive from a distance"... Always watching but not constantly at our table asking what we need or how everything was.
