Perfect 5 stars! So how does this happen?? The location nestled among Chester's little main street provided a perfect dinner atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant takes you out of CT and let's you be someplace else with dim lighting and copper topped tables. Service staff was super friendly and timely throughout the entire meal. The most important part, the food and drink! Chef Everett Reid created sensory experience hitting a home run on the eyes, nose and taste from the appetizer through dessert. Every item was cooked to perfection and presented the same way. The wine selections couldn't have provided a more seamless combination to what you just ate. All in all this is what makes a perfect 5 star dining experience. Even if you're not close to Chester, CT find your way there... this is a fantastic restaurant!!

HFC is an absolutely lovely experience! What a beautiful location and the best food and drinks. I recommend sitting at the bar with Bob if you can! The deviled eggs, HFC chicken with creole french Mac and cheese, and bourbon smash were amazing. The hot sauce is HOT.

Ate here for my first time and many more to come. Started off with the deviled eggs which were phenomenal. It was loaded with flavors to excite the pallet and the eggs were booked to perfection. Next up was the saigon curried mussels which were the most tender juicy mussels I've ever had. Once again with flavors that exploded the pallet with fresh lemongrass and spices. Then for the main entree was the Quebec roasted chicken. That again amazing and exploding with flavor. I accompanied the meal with a side of pimento Mac and cheese which is a must have. Lastly we finished the night with some chocolate pot du creme perfectly paired with a nice port which presented a amazing flavor explosion of this rich dessert. I highly recommend this place. It's a gem in the beautiful new england town of chester with a very reasonably priced menu, friendly knowledgeable service, and a meal you'll never forget.

Hot French Chix is an absolute gem. Fantastic food, wonderful staff who deeply care about their craft. Gorgeous interior which I look forward to enjoying again in the future; but in the meantime, it’s lovely getting take away - I’ve been craving their pho which is SO flavorful, and their French burger which is very possibly the best burger you will ever have in your life (Roquefort fondue, shallot mushroom marmalade). They have an extensive menu and each item seems to be even more delicious than the last. They also offer take away wine and cocktails! Love this place!

An array of unique and international flavors, an attentive staff, professional chefs who truly care about their work: knowing all this what's not to love about Hot French Chix? Ever since I started eating here about eight months ago, I've fallen in love. The "simple" things are done so right that the first bite transports you to the sands of Morocco or the plains of France. At least that's the way I felt when I took my first bite out of the French Burger. There's always something new and exciting to try and you won't ever find such dynamic or flavorful foods elsewhere in Connecticut. Words are incapable of describing how delicious, mind-blowing, and unique the cuisine is here that you absolutely need to try it for yourself. Definitely recommend.

I had their signature hot chicken dish. Super hot, very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner as did my wife. We ended our meal sharing a pot of chocolate cream. Amazing. Thank you Hot French Chix .

Centrally located in the picturesque village of Chester. The owners clearly know food and served us an amazing takeaway dinner on a night we visited. We look forward to going back!

Downtown Chester is adorable and this was our first time here.
Connecticut Magazine shared the following review,
”The restaurant features global French cuisine with influences hailing from Vietnam to Canada to Louisiana and beyond. An elegant yet relaxed setting is enhanced by a bill that ends up being lower than expected for the quality and ambiance”.
We started with a local, organic beet salad that was excellent in taste and the fusion of colors of yellow and purple beets was perfection and a work of art that tasted amazing.
We had a Julia Child burger with Roquefort cheese, grilled onions, etc. and my sister-in-law had the lamb burger.
We had sides of mac and cheese, and baked beans that had a kick of spice, that enhanced the meal.
Maureen shard that she has worked for the chef-owner before and the style of cooking combines both French and Vietnamese flavors.
The owners previously ran L&E French, which specialized in high-end French cuisine. Everett studied at the Culinary Institute of America and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and the couple had previously owned American Seasons and then Restaurant Mona on Nantucket. A few years after debuting L&E French, they opened Good Elephant upstairs at the same spot.
Amazing food and service, so if you plan to go a reservation is suggested!

We enjoyed our dinner very much, unique and flavorful! Service was quite good also. Will be back.
