Anthony's of Guilford

I recently dined at The Den at Anthony's in Guilford, CT, and the experience was exceptional. The tacos and Reuben sandwich were nothing short of phenomenal—each bite bursting with flavor. The ambiance, coupled with attentive service, elevated the overall dining experience. A five-star gem for those seeking delightful culinary delights in Guilford.

Delicious every time! Definitely try the penne vodka or sausage and peppers. We order trays upon trays for our events like birthdays, holidays, etc. The food is always phenomenal, always on time, and the employees are nice enough to help bring them out to the car.

Finally tried "The Den at Anthony's ", and was not disappointed. Nice rotating selection of craft beers, including double fuzzy from NEBC! Only had the buffalo chicken Quesadilla, which was delicious. Bartender was friendly and busy. Portions generous and appeared greatly appreciated. Place has the sports pub vibe with interesting, sometimes industrial style, like the unique moving gear clock!

We sat at the bar and ordered the steak tips, truffle fries, and cheeseburger tot nachos. We were absolutely thrilled. Best food around. Service is great and they all get to know you. Well deserving of 5 stars.

IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND A GREAT RESTAURANT WITH DELICIOUS FOOD AND AWESOME DRINKS. THIS IS A PERFECT PLACE! I AM TRAVELING UP THE COAST FROM NC AND I WILL BE BACK TO "ANTHONY'S ". KEEP IT UP YOU HAVE A GREAT PLACE!

They make the best stuffed breads there of anyplace in the Northeast!!!

I attended a brunch here recently. It was fantastic! I would dare to say it was the best brunch spread I've ever seen! All the food was cooked expertly, the eggs were just right and you could order omelettes. The potatoes were exceptional.

The space was very clean and well decorated. Very open and inviting. The wait staff that served us were prompt and courteous. Overall a wonderful experience.

We are blessed with plenty of solid pizza options around here. Anthony's is clearly one of them, and is consistent and the staff are always friendly and efficient. It feels like a place that comes from family pride. And unlike the place down the road (that's also very good pizza), you don't have to wait an hour and a half.

One of the best Sunday brunches I've been to in years! So many choices, rooms with different spreads in each... Carved Meats, seafood, salads - all predated with fresh, in-house dressings, desserts to die for, omelettes prepared to order, polite and professional wait staff. A genuinely delightful experience!

The Den was legit awesome! Very good food, really cool atmosphere, and great staff! Definitely going back soon.

We recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a brunch for 50 guests at Anthony's of Guilford. We could not have been happier with our decision! Rena guided us through the planning and answered all our questions making it a very easy process. Several guests were either gluten-free or vegetarian and she gladly guided them towards foods that they could eat that day. Rena's attention to detail was much appreciated.

We had many compliments on the wonderful food and the staff was very attentive. The private dining room was clean, nicely appointed and ready for our own touches of centerpieces and photo display.

Boy do these people know how to cook. We stopped here for the first time ever so we tried a few different things on the menu. We always like to order a pizza when trying a new Italian restaurant and it was excellent. Words can't describe the delicious calzone we had. The calzone we ordered had sausage in it . The crust of the calzone was thin and crispy and the filling was just the right amount of ricotta and mozzarella, perfectly balanced and sausage in every bite. Their sausage is homemade and out of this world. I also order the shrimp florentine. The shrimp were delicately fried with I think an egg batter coating that was light and very tasty and the sauce and spinach was perfect. Good size portion and even better the next day. Last but not least, the pepperoni bread. Well, I've had many different stuffed breads from numerous restaurants but this one tops them all. Again, perfect balance of meat and cheese, crispy thin crust and delicious ingredients. If you haven't stopped here to grab dinner for your family then you are missing out on excellent quality food. My tastebuds don't lie so give Anthony's of Guilford a try.

Mother's Day Brunch 2017 was amazing!. I am 100% Italian and the food was outstanding. My family had the best Mothers Day brunch ever. Thank you Anthony's of Guilford. We will be back!

Excellent food! Their stuffed breads are the best you can buy!! Especially their stromboli bread with peppers, onion, pepperoni!!! And their special order steak & cheese bread!!! Yummm! Owner are great accommodating folk!! 😁

The food has always been great, and now the pizza is back to being consistently great. I’m also hoping that the quite limited hours of operation are adhered to. Nice people, great Italian food.

Amazing buffet style food. Had a beautiful family mother's day dinner here. The staff was super friendly and the food choice was incredible. Thinking about making this a tradition for the family.

Are they hosting sunday brunch ever again. It is hands down the best brunch in ct. I miss it. I miss the great selection, and the owners.always so nice. Please bring bsck Sunday Brunch. Id pay more.

They make the best eggplant Parmesan. I frequently buy a large tray and portion it out into smaller portions and freeze to have it on hand at home. It’s a family favorite.

Food - delicious, service -friendly. I love this local restaurant.
