The Everyday Gourmet

The Everyday Gourmet is absolutely fabulous! We had them cater my grandmother’s 90th birthday party and they did a fantastic job.

Pat was a huge help getting all the details sorted and made great suggestions for the menu. Good communication throughout the process.

The food was delicious (people were talking all afternoon about how good it was), but what really blew us away was the service. Sue and Anthony were amazing. Efficient and professional and very friendly. They helped with everything from set up to clean up and did a great job of pacing the food throughout the party. They took especially good care of my grandmother, making sure she had anything she needed, taking the time to chat with her, and overall helping make sure her birthday was extra special.

Had a delicious lunch here with my brother. Everything is homemade served by a lovely couple. My salad was exchanged to get the small because the large is a good size. My brother loved his turkey sandwich. We have also ordered catered food for a friend once and they loved it!

Best food in the New Haven county. My go-to is "The Cluckin Russian", but cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Their catering is unbelievable, the staff is always so friendly and easy to work with, and my guests are always talking about how great the food was.

This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely amazing food. Chicken parm amazing, The Godfather sub Amazing! The burgers are to die for. Food is so good i sat frozen in my car for 10 minutes with my mind blown after having the brunch burger.

Love this place! Whether it’s soup, a sandwich, or a salad— OR one of Pat’s special entrees, the food here is consistently exceptional! Everyone who works there is also very nice. A great place!

The Everyday Gourmet is my favorite deli in the New Haven area. My favorite sandwiches include The Jenna, The Big John, and of course a fan favorite - The Cluckin Russia. EDG is family owned and operated. The owners are the nicest people around. Please check this place out whenever you're cruising down Whitney.

We ordered from them today and the food was amazing. What topped it off was the red velvet cupcake. I can't wait to try other item's on there menu. Our Favorite place!!!!

EDG is my favorite place to have lunch in the New Haven area, the delicious food and friendly service is always on point. My favorite dish is the Toscana, it has grilled chicken , broccoli rabe and fresh mozz.

Great food made by better people. You cannot go wrong at EDG. The epitome of what true Italian food is supposed to taste like. I am a customer for life! No need to look anywhere else!
