Whittemore Ice Cream

Yummy ice cream with a good variety of flavors. My granddaughter said the banana ice cream had the most banana flavor ever lol. Nice people, clean place inside and out...we enjoyed ours outside at one of their many tables.

This charming ice cream shop was a new find for me, and I'm glad to have discovered it! Portions are generous and the ice cream sweet and creamy. I especially appreciated that the flavors are bold. Hope to be back!

We each ordered a waffle cone with three scoops (Medium), we should have ordered a small, the portion was huge! I had the cookie monster, oreo and peanut butter. We both sat on the tailgate in the parking lot and had to eat it fast. We got ice cream everywhere but it was worth it.

I also got to watch someone hand bake and roll the cones behind the register while we were being rung up. This is why the place smells so good right when you walk in.

I enjoy this place more so than the more popular ice cream businesses in the area. Usually at those joints you feel rushed and anxious because their menu is absolutely enormous and overwhelming. This place feels like an old country store and the interior of the building has a beautiful historical post and beam theme. Definitely worth the trip!

TodayI had the pleasure of visiting this ice cream parlor with my family. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A good selection of flavors and toppings. As you walk in you are in a country rustic setting which is very clean and roomy. The owners were very nice and made you feel like family not customers.

I have gone to Whittmore Ice Cream a couple times since they reopened and I have really enjoyed my experiences. Good selection of tasty choices, and I love their waffles cones— they’re a delicious flavor and consistency. Very friendly service, too.

Wonderful homemade waffle cones and bowls. Homemade unique ice cream flavor concoctions. Great old timey decor. The dance studio upstairs sounds like there's 100 horses galloping around but as a local it doesn't seem to bother anyone because the ice cream is that great!

Cash-only ice cream parlour with a splendid assortment of flavours. Good portions. Great value for your money. I highly recommend their pistachio.

Love their ice cream, many flavors, lots of toppings, staff is friendly and welcoming. Open seasonally. Theres tables inside and outside to sit​ while enjoying​ your ice cream. Great family place or date night stop.

Outstanding homemade ice cream, one of the top three ice cream places in the state, in my opinion. A little out of the way, in Seymour, but we'll worth looking for. You won't be disappointed

Cozy ice cream parlor located in what was once an 18th century tavern. Beutiful exposed beams. Best place to go if the lines are too long at Rich Farm. Cash only!

I think it's new owners. Ice cream is much better and actually frozen now. Amazing and worth another visit.

Yo..I had a banana split sundae this thing came in a bowl 3 different types of ice cream my choice 3 different toppings my choice a mountain of whipped cream ...BOY it took me a 20 minutes to eat this monster .No lie try it!!!!!!
