Salty Tomato Pizzeria

I have driven past the Salty Tomato a million times and didn’t have them until recently; and I’m glad I did- I ordered a large meat lovers and everything was on point. The cheese pull, the crispy crust and the richness of the ingredients has made this a top rated pie on my book. I can see this pie go toe to toe with any pie in the area!

Amazing food! It was the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! The sauce has the perfect flavor and the cheese is great! The prices are also pretty reasonable as well! I 100 percent recommend!

I love their pizza it's the best around I think. And it is also made quickly so the wait time is minimal. I love that it is close by. I don't think it has delivery but for the price and quality of their pizza it's worth it to just go yourself.

There eggplant rollatini dinner is so good. We'll worth the money. 4 slices of eggplant stuffed with ricotta, side salad and bread. I loved it

Never had a bad pizza from this wonderful establishment. The ingredients are some of the best and the dough is always top notch/extremely fresh.Great pizzas and very fast 15/25 min tops. Can hang as one of the better pies in this region of great pizza.

This is our favorite pizza place. Take out only. You can get a nice thick crust pizza that is not burned like so many other places

In for the first time, and the young man there was so gracious and humble! Of course the sandwiches were luscious, but so much, in my view, depends on the demeanor of the person waiting on me. Wish I'd gotten his name..tall and lean, and a good looking kid. Before I knew what the buttons for a tip represented, he's just said to hit "no" or "none," I think his parents must be proud of the good son they've raised.So when I got out to the car, I wanted to give him a cash tip, albeit small. He responded gratefully. We will definitely return!

Same Dom taste, same Dom greatness. Could my pizza have been charred a bit more like how Dom used to make it? Sure. And I was skeptical looking at it, wondering if it'd be the same, but thankfully it was. That classic crust bubble, that delicious sauce, the perfect mozz. Happy to see the hidden gem of pizzerias of the New Haven area live on and continue it's trend of delicious and crazy affordable pies. The toppings are quality and seemingly made in house when possible (ie: meatball crumble) and that's another great takeaway. Do yourself a favor and taste some greatness here... Just make sure you order it well done (hopefully they do that) if you want that classic New Haven apizza char. Other than that, you're in great hands.

It's almost annoying that we can't get a good pie. Usually there is something we can find to complain about. For 7 weeks straight we have ordered weekly and tonight we did a random 3 different pie challenge. It's become comical that we literally can't complain about a single thing. Salty Tomato has become my favorite pizza place and honestly a refreshing reprieve during this covid crisis. Only been a customer since April but look forward to the years of weekly pizza to come. We went from plain mozzarella to the garbage pizza, this place literally does no wrong.

My favorite pizza place in west haven! The bacon pie never misses! Also, the buffalo sicilian is the best I ever had!!

Excellent abizza pie, our favorite since Dominic's. Grew up on another local favorite pizzeria, and this is our favorite since about the last two years. Great people and staff.

I picked up a large half pepperoni pizza for lunch. It was really good! I like the pizza sauce. Will definitely order again.

Wow !! NOt easy to fill to shoes of 40+ year Iconic pizzeria, but you guys are on your way. Pizza is great as usual. A little different from dads, but still great!!! I wish you 40+ years of success and happiness!

Delicious! The Baybrook white pizza is particularly good, the mashed potato too. They’re also cooked right with a great crust.

There are a number of great Pizzerias in the New Haven area, this one is a hidden gem. We like our pizza well done with a crispy crust and Salty's gets it right.

Great family run pizzeria. I always get mine a little more well done.
