This is the best guitar shop I’ve ever been to. Jon is an amazing shop owner. He knows all the ins and outs about guitars. The shop also has a very impressive collection of guitars. Jon has been super helpful for my custom order, even when I changed the spec multiple times after the initial order. If you want to get high-end guitars, definitely check out this store. It totally worth for me to drive the 4 hour round trip twice from New York to order my guitar.

The Charvel I wanted had a production date of 2024 according to the large online shop I was initially dealing with. I went to Charvel’s website and selected Killerburst (as they are an authorized dealer). I called John to verify stock and immediately purchased. Shipping was fast!!! 3 days and I got my axe! Highly appreciate the white glove treatment of the instrument, it is flawless and plays like butter.
Purchase with confidence. I will say, Killerburst will be my go to in the future.

Great store. The owner carries a good variety of instruments and amps and other gear . The owner John also knows a lot about the music industry and the equipment manufacturers so you can learn a lot over there. One thing I like about the store is that Killerburst is offering quality music gear that you generally wont find in the big chain stores like Guitar Center. I would say Killerburst mostly sells medium to high level gear which is what I go for .

I stopped in a few months back hoping to try the new Jackson American SL3 Soloist that just came out last year. Jon had 3 (!!!) in stock as well as plenty of similarly priced models to compare to. I tried a Japan-made Ibanez RG and a few others. I’m very particular about setup and action and every guitar I played was dialed in. Prices were commensurate with the big corporate chains. Jon answered my many questions about features, construction and potential future upgrades and a week or so later I was back to purchase a Soloist. If you are into superstrats this store is heaven. The number of one-off custom shop spec builds in stock is legitimately insane.

Really enjoyed my experience purchasing a new guitar from Jon. In the past I’ve tended to hunt for used guitars at larger retailers, but this time I tried a different approach since I was having a hard time finding the right instrument. Based on my criteria, Jon suggested a custom build he ordered from G&L, and he explained in great detail the guitar’s features as I played it in the store. He’s very knowledgeable about many brands and can help you sort through the various wishes and concerns that all guitarists have as we search for our ideal instrument.

I love visiting the smaller guitar shops across the state, found Jon's shop, talked with him about the guitar I was looking for, Jon is super friendly and knowledgeable. Came back a day later and purchased a guitar,( Larivee D-40R,) and going back next week to pick up some accessories.

I recently had the pleasure of working with an exceptional luthier who performed two outstanding jobs on my guitars. The first task involved adding a Bigsby system to my Gibson E-335, a task that required precision and skill due to the guitar's unique design. The luthier executed the installation flawlessly, ensuring that the Bigsby system was seamlessly integrated into the guitar's structure.
In addition to this, the luthier set up a Fender Stratocaster with a brand new neck. This involved not only attaching the neck securely but also adjusting the instrument's intonation, action, and truss rod to perfection. The end result was a guitar that played beautifully and felt incredibly comfortable to play.
The craftsmanship displayed by the luthier was truly remarkable. Both guitars not only looked fantastic but also played better than ever before. The attention to detail, precision, and care taken during these jobs were evident in the final results. I was thoroughly impressed by their expertise and dedication to their craft.
I highly recommend this luthier to anyone seeking top-notch instrument work. Their skill, knowledge, and commitment to delivering exceptional results are truly commendable. I will undoubtedly return for future guitar-related needs, knowing that my instruments will be in capable hands.

Easily the most professional guitar store I've ever experienced. Any guitar that Jon pulls from the wall is in perfect tune and flawless. Jon's knowledge and expertise are top level. I'll never go to Guitar Center ever again.

I was lead to this excellent and unique shop by a specific guitar I was looking for on the web and at the chains. No plan to buy new until I engaged the owner in a text conversation about what he thought of the line of guitars. Owner was helpful and happy to listen to concerns and offer his thoughts.Visited the shop, bought a beautiful new guitar. Enjoyed guitar talk with the owner. A good day.

Jon was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He has a terrific shop with a ton of great, varied products. He was really easy to deal with and an absolute pleasure to talk gear with. The Ibanez RG565 that I purchased from him was an almost life-long pursuit, and I'm glad that I purchased it from Killerburst Guitars.
