Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Millpond. We have been to a few vets in the past but we are so thankful to finally find one we can rave about. Not only have they been available for appointments for preventative and sick care (not the case everywhere), but they have literally been life savers for my dog on multiple occasions. The wonderful vets and super caring staff not only take care of the animals but educate, support and go above and beyond for the people too. We are so thankful especially for Dr Lang. We not only trust him whole heartedly but we turn to him for support and questions and he always provides realistic recommendations and treatment that is doable and considerate of families. We are so thankful!

My last dog loved going to Mill Pond Vet. The staff & Vets are amazing & helpful. I just inherited 2 huge dogs that had no records of any vaccinations & let me tell you the prices at Mill Pond are very reasonable. I was given info. on insurance for both dogs incase something happens down the line. Also, if I want to order medications online the Vets are willing to help you get the best price for your pet's needs. They email or call or text you reminders about your appointments. If you're looking for a place that will take good care of your pet- try Mil Pond in Branford, right near the high school.

Unfortunately my
17 year old cat passed at home, and I took her to Mill Pond for cremation. Kimmy was the girl who tended to me and I couldn't say enough about her! She was not only very sweet, but warm hearted, and empathetic at a time I needed it the most. I would recommend this veterinary hospital for to àny and everyone!!

We were so pleased with everyone we came in contact with. The woman at the front desk were so kind and friendly and loved our 4 month old puppy. Tucker is a little shy at first but he loved the ladies.Dr Lang and his assistant were very thorough and answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. This was our first time at Mill Pond and I must say if i could have given them more than five stars i would have!

It was our first visit to Mill Pond. We were very pleased with the time and attention our little girls were given. Not only did they get the most thorough exam ever but Dr. Lang and all of the staff were very gentle and caring. We had more than enough time to ask any questions we had and our questions were answered with kindness and respect. I highly recommend!!

We recently switched to Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital, leaving another local vet practice that we had for over a decade. We wish we had done this a decade sooner!
The staff at Mill Pond were all very welcoming and friendly. All our cat’s information was taken over the phone and appointments were set up for a wellness visit just a week out as new patients. It took weeks to get an appointment at our old vet because they no longer had a full-time vet on staff. When we arrived, the facility was very clean and bright, the best part was we were able to accompany our cat inside. The front desk staff was great, and both the vet tech and Dr. Prior were very compassionate, gentle and caring.
We are very happy with our decision to change to Mill Pond and look forward to many years of great care for our precious fur babies.

Dr. Wray is awesome and handles all my family's pets. My cat recently had an issue and was seen almost immediately with the problem resolved. I would highly reccomend Mill Pond to everyone for their pet needs. They never disappoint.

Very nice and knowledgeable staff and doctor! The doctor was so thorough during my dog’s examination as well as taking the time to discuss everything. His vet tech was very personable and pleasant!

Always friendly and won derful to our Ziva. You need a veterinarian service, this is the best.

Such a great experience with Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital. We recently moved to the area and needed a new vet. As you can imagine, finding a vet you can trust is scary! Our 4 year old Australian Shepard was limping and I called Mill Pond at 8AM. They were able to see me at 1120AM that same day! Dr. Prior was so caring and was sure to explain to me my different options to help our pup! Thank you! If you need a vet - make sure to bring your furry loved one here!

Absolutely amazing. Our dog had an obstruction and they were able to get us in next day and do surgery. They saved his life and saved us so much money since we didn't have to go to the emergency vet. Everyone there was so sweet and I knew he was getting the best care possible. They kept us informed every step of the way. This isn't our usual vet but we will now be switching over. Thank you!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I brought our two kittens there that we’ve had for two weeks for eye infections. I was very anxious about it but Dr. Prior and her tech were incredible. They answered every single question we had and my kittens were very happy with all the treats they received. I am so glad we chose them as our veterinary home!

The team at Mill Pond is fantastic. I have taken my dog and cat to see Dr. Lange and Dr. Prior (+ the other new doc, who has blind cats) most recently for my cat to have a dental cleaning and surgery. From lumps and bumps of varying concern on my 10 year old pup to cat chin acne (who knew that was a thing?) the team from the front desk to the techs are superb, especially Ashley, Selena and Vicky. They communicate clearly, are transparent with finances, and are so respectful, thoughtful, and realistic in their care. Very grateful to have found a vet like this.

Everyone has different experiences and finding a vet thats works well with you can be really hard. I would recommend Mill Pond to any fellow pet parent.

The staff at Millpond is great! They treat our puppies as if they were their own! Jennifer and Ashley are very helpful and answer any questions about the services they offer!! Dr. Lang is a great doctor and we followed him here from Banfield where he took care of our puppies! He is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything and then answers any questions that you may have! I highly recommend Millpond to anyone looking for a Veterinary Hospital!

Someone in these reviews was complaining that they had to wait this morning to get their cats nails clipped because two emergencies came in. I'm very sorry that you had to wait but my dog was one of those emergencies and I am so grateful that he was looked at immediately because he was in serious distress with intense pain. I understand that no one wants to wait when they have a scheduled appointment but emergencies are unplanned and you never know when they will happen. I am very thankful to Dr Yarrow for taking such good care of my poor sick puppy this morning. Everyone one of the doctors and techs have been so caring and loving to my puppy and cats over the years.

I have four dogs who are taken care of by the incredibly caring staff at Mill Pond. This morning I had to say goodbye to one of my beloved babies. Despite the pandemic, and the strict guidelines, I was given full protective PPE and allowed to be with my dog while Dr. Lang cared for him- and me. He didn’t rush me, he explained everything and swiftly ended my pup’s suffering. Peacefully. Although I am heartbroken, I am grateful to the staff and Doctor Lang for being so kind, knowledgeable and patient. #grateful

The Vets and staff at Mill Pond are awesome. Our dogs, guinea pig and foster kittens have all received wonderful care at their facility. We had to put two dogs down recently and the compassion towards us and our pets was genuine and memorable. One of our dogs had long term dermatological issues and the vet was tenacious in bringing closure to the problem. Today I discovered I needed a health certificate to travel with my dog. I showed up at their door and walked away in 10 minutes with the needed form.

I don’t even have words to express how amazing this vet is. I have received such amazing care for dog. I’ve never felt so comfortable with a vet office before and mill pond is amazing. From
The office visits to the care down to the all the doctors abs staff. My baby means the world to me abs dr Lang abs dr prior have been so amazing to my puppers.

We have been bringing our dog here for 13 years and are very pleased w/the service and attention we have received. Although some doctors have come and gone, all have been professionial, compassionate & helpful. Along w/the technicians and staff. there is always a followup call from them to check on your pet. As we move - Thank you for your care over the years.

I can’t say enough how helpful and efficient all of the staff here are! I had a very stressful situation today with our dog miles, and the experience we had here was amazing. The visit was very affordable and they immediately accommodated our situation by seeing miles right away. I am so happy and thankful that miles has this place to rely on.
