Highly recommend Guilford AMC! We recently moved to Hawaii and due to Hawaii's strict rabies guidelines, it was an intense process getting our 2 fur babies over. Our cat Max was fairly easy to get over but our puppy Nathan had some struggles with his titer tests. He was not passing the required blood test to be allowed into Hawaii. Dr. Janicki and his amazing staff helped us every step of the way. We believe they went above and beyond their duties to help us. They were in contact with the lab trying to help us do everything we could to get Nathan to pass his test. We were in constant contact with everyone at Guilford AMC about the best steps we could take and what our options were. We felt that everyone worked extra hard to help us and without GAMC, this struggle would have been so much harder to deal with. We finally got Nathan to pass and he and his brother max have settled nicely. EVERYONE at GAMC is so friendly and passionate about the care your pets receive! We never felt rushed or pressured into anything. Everything from options of treatments to pricing was clearly explained and never felt pressured into doing anything we weren't comfortable doing. Everyone takes the time to explain everything clearly, they respond quickly to questions and treat all fur babies as if they were their own. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GAMC and I give 5 stars to everyone here! We are sad to be so far away from GAMC but are glad we were able to experience the wonderful care they showed our fur babies!! Thank you to everyone at GAMC!!!!

On Monday we made the gut wrenching decision to send our 15 year old Puggle Max over the rainbow bridge 🌈. What was supposed to be a visit to see what could be done to help him rapidly transitioned to we knew what needed to be done. He had declined rapidly over 24 hours. I just wanted to take the time to thank Guilford Animal Medical Center and their staff for everything that morning. Especially Dr. Melanie, Cole, Marissa and Paula. They were kind, compassionate and never once made us feel rushed, I know they were busy. In fact we were told to take as much time as was needed. They treated Max with dignity and respect. A very special thanks and hugs to Paula who took extra time to help me make the perfect paw impression with my baby after, I will be forever grateful. Monday evening during a drive I saw a double rainbow, I know this was his way of saying “Momma I’m ok I made it” ♥

Old school office not about the money, about the proper care of you pet. We were shown an estimate before we committed to any tests. Excellent experience so many of the Vets have become all about the money

These guys are awesome! The vet is so nice and caring, and Paula always follows up with a phone call a few days later to ensure your pet is doing well! The facility is BEAUTIFUL everything is brand new, tons of rooms for visits, complimentary drinks/snacks while waiting for humans and pets! I am so glad I was recommended to come here, because I won't go anywhere else now! The staff really care about the well-being of my pets!

This vet office is absolutely wonderful, the staff is very kind and compassionate along with being very knowledgeable. This is the first veterinary office that i feel very confident that my dog will be taken care of and trust them completely. They treat the animals as if they were their own. Also Paula is very kind and extremely hardworking along with the rest of the staff. Overall great experience!! This will always be my go to vet.

This place is great they got me right in to care both of my dogs now they're even helping me with if we can take problems that's happening the day that I called is the day that they helped me with the problem period and made an appointment for a cherry Eye for my other dog and the next upcoming appointment which I think is just wonderful as they are period

Every time I bring my puppy, Akira, they always are so kind to her! They take amazing care of her no matter how big or small the problem is and pay close attention to their behaviors too. Definitely worth the commute!

Guilford AMC is excellent and extremely accommodating. Have had wonderful experiences that past couple "emergencies" I had where I needed a last minute appointment for them to see my dog. Staff members are very friendly, and even called me a couple days later to check in on my dog. Highly recommend!

Always a pleasant experience with every staff member. They are so wonderful and helpful and accomadating- they make sure you know exactly what is going on and that you are comfortable with every option, medication, process etc. Surgery in house is also an option if needed!
PS they don't rip you off!!!

Everyone was great. They got me in right away and provided the necessary treatment to my Bichon. Fortunately it appeared only a strain. Doctor was very informative and professional.

Dr. Janakey (sorry if it’s spelled wrong!) and his amazing vet tech and staff memembers provided myself and my dog with one of the best experiences I’ve ever heard with a veterinarian practice. We all know as pet owners how scary and stressful emergency situations are! GAMC took my Sadie in ASAP the day I needed them, they were attentive, gentle and kind to my nervous injured Female Pitty, Doctor J came out and personally introduced himself and explained aftercare with me in person which meant a lot to me. The staff called and checked on Sadie in weeks to come, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND for this nervous dog mama!! We cannot thank you all enough. Fairly priced, honest, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I would give them endless stars if possible. You won’t regret taking your beloved pet here.

Very kind staff!!! Dr J was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful during visit.Extremely reasonable prices, I wouldn’t go anywhere but here. Just wish I could have gone in with my little guy during visit but understanding of covid times!

Our dog went in for a dental procedure. Staff was very kind, understanding, and patient. Took the time to thoroughly and clearly explain what was happening and walked us through the procedure. It was followed by a follow up phone call after the procedure.
