Best Bacon Cheese Burger! After 3 take out orders of their Bacon Cheese Burger, I must say they are very consistent and cook it to perfection every time! Best bacon on a burger I have ever had! Onion rings are very good as well!

It's a quaint/small space, but the food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The portion sizes for appetizers are big and enough where you don't even need an entree. The crispy ribs and chicken tenders were A-Grade, and fresh off the grill. Staff were friendly and it was a great spot for a Saturday afternoon. 10/10!

Went there with a group. It was busy in bar with limited seating so plan ahead. Everyone had a good time and was happy with their food. My doob wings were fantastic as well as the burger. Maddy our server was witty and dealt with our nonsense like a true pro. Definitely coming back.

It was nice, there are three different areas you can sit, either outdoors at picnic tables to see live music, a much appreciated quieter dining room, and the more lively bar section. Our food came out quickly and multiple servers all checked on us often to make sure we were happy and had everything we wanted. I ordered 24 wings total and enjoyed the Doob wings, Buffalo, and Garlic Parmeasan wings and was happy.

Hard hat is a child hood haunt for me. When it was called the Black Stallion, food was great and the set back games were always happening. Friday nights were great times had by all, the place was always packed. Ahhh the good ole days..
Went to Hard Hat for drinks and snacks, with friends and it was good, as usual.

You want wings then you come here. Hometown bar. Small but great food. Love the atmosphere here. Music playing, people dancing. Always have the sports on. Great place to grab a beer and watch the games. Has a huge backyard too for outings, stars, fundraisers whatever you want.

Went in on a whim because I saw their sign and it was off the beaten path. I couldn't have found a nicer local bar to hang out in. Even though I knew no one when I got there, I felt like I left with friends. There was Tessa and her boyfriend Connor who was bartending and couldn't have been nicer! Mark sat to my right (who is the owners husband) as well as Andy then later on Brian and Tony came in, I went in for a drink and stayed for five maybe more! I had a great time just going in blind. It's not too close to where I live but I'm definitely going back not just to see my new friends but to try some of their food which I heard was delicious! If you're looking for something different this little gem is the place to go!

Hands Down, the best roast beef sandwich I have ever had! The sweet potato fries were great too.

Haven’t been to Connecticut in years. Found out about this place doing some work around the area. The Brunch Burger is to die for. Custom ordered it to have Mushrooms. Also ordered the sweet potato fries. Both were made extremely well. They definitely know what they’re doing. The syrup that comes with the brunch burger literally completes it. This is the place you go for a high quality burger.

Went here with friends and family. Sat on terrace which was beautiful. Under the stars with a Great band, Saville Rowe, and delicious food. They have such good wings and wraps. Love the menu, good variety. Will be back!

I had the Hard Hat salad, and it was really satisfying. The lettuce was crisp and fresh and was well dressed with the perfect amount of dressing. At first, I didn't see the nuts, etc., but found they were there in perfect quantities. We shared the stuffed mushrooms, which were fine but not really special in any way.

Great place for a Saturday lunch✨

What a great local find! Excellent food and service, and we had the entire back area to ourselves. Will definitely hit up on our way home from New Haven again!

The Doob wings are my first choice every time I visit The Hard Hat, but there are also many other menu options that are outstanding. The burgers are also highly recommended. The Hard Hat has it all... Great bartenders, service, atmosphere, live music under the pavilion...

This place rocks. The staff is very friendly and professional, the service is top notch. Food and drink are excellent, and affordable. The crowd is nice, so it is family friendly. They have live entertainment there, so the atmosphere is great. This is where the locals go when they want to have a good time.

We had a birthday party for about 50 people in the new addition out back. It was fantastic! I worked with Sheryl putting all the details together and she was great to work with. Very helpful! I didn't get the two young ladies names that were working the bar during the party but they were awesome as well! We had a wide variety of food and it was all delicous!
Highly recommend Hard Hat for a party or even a night out!

Recently updated inside and super nice patio space. always a good crowd here, excellent wings, great drinks. What more can you ask for?!

Phenomenal food, excellent service every single time! The drive is about 35 mins but it has been SO worth it every time. The specials are spot on, I’ve had the jambalaya & the swordfish steak both blew me away. The fries are perfect, the drinks were great and service was amazing. This became one of my go-to spots immediately.
