Beautiful gem in west haven with many beer options and vegetarian choices for food. They have an outdoor patio I love to sit at and enjoy my drink.

8.9.23 Parking lot next to the restaurant, which has indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has a little of everything from tuna and chicken Poke bowls to pulled pork nachos, burgers, etc. The food was amazing. We were a party of 4 that got seated right away. The drinks and food came out fast. Overall everything was superb!

Tons of fun on Monday night for Music Trivia. Good food with large servings.

Savory food, excellent service, clean and welcoming atmosphere. And to the top it all off with a very scenic view of Long Island. Easily one the best bars in the area. Definitely worth the visit. Can’t wait to come again!

We stopped by this restaurant after visiting the IKEA nearby and wanted to take my parents to experience an American restaurant. We aren’t local but are very happy about our experience here! The portion is huge and food is very reasonably priced. We ordered too much food and ended up packing most of the the food to go. The location was great, right next to the ocean so you got the full ocean view. It was a hot day when we were there and we almost felt like we were at a beach in Florida, which we really loved for living more to the south end of CT (near New York). The service was great and the food came pretty quickly. We liked every dish we had. The fries were really good! The only thing might be more at the bland end is the mahi mahi tacos. I’d come again if we visit this area again!

Very good bar food, tuna poke bowl is my favorite dish, staff is always great. Tonight I had the Mac smash burger (I recommend)! 5 stars on service because they are always great, but when they are busy you may wait a bit, but never that long.

Great vibe here. The girls working during the day are fantastic. Make you feel at home. Lot of fun highly recommend very reasonable definitely check it out

Food used to be better. Nachos were my favorite. They don't put as much effort as they used to. But it's my number 1 spot for summer. You feel like you're on vacation.

Great little spot! The service was truly awesome, I had two different servers checking in on me almost in tandem. I got the shrimp pi boy tacos (which I was nervous about, having had real po boys) and they were delicious. The shrimp were large and fried perfectly, rhe sauce was so good! Great atmosphere, outstanding service, and great food!

This place is great. The open air concept shows of the incredible beach view. The burrata salad is out of this world. I added on steak and it was melt in your mouth amazing. Their lobster is fantastic too!

First visit and it won't be my last! Friendly staff and great food. Had a burger with bacon and fries, fantastic. Nice beach view if you eat outside.

First time dining at Dive Bar and holy cow what a place. I had one of the best burgers I have had in many years if not ever. Service was fast and friendly. Beautiful view of the ocean. I have a new favorite lunch location.

I love Dive Bar. On a 2 week vacation, I went there 5 times. The last time, there was 12 of us. And Sally and Leenie (sorry if the name is spelled wrong) were fantastic and accommodated us wonderfully. Can’t wait to move back to West Haven! Dive bar is my place! Food is excellent!

You are right. It was the other place next to you. Your place gives great service. If the other place doesnt serve onion ring ran out of onion rings they should have told me. My fault, guess before I left there I should have checked.

Nice crowd, good food, great atmosphere overlooking the beach. My first time but won't be my last.

Out of this world burgers! We had to stop for lunch on our way South on a long trip - the host was welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere was lovely , the view stunning and the burgers were absolutely scrumptious. We tried the "Bourbon and blue" burger and the "figtastic" burger - they both were delicious, and so were the fries. Try their iced tea which was very enjoyable too. Will certainly keep them in mind next time we are passing by the area.

Tried the Fig, Bacon, Brie burger, and was shocked at how phenomenal it was!!! Cooked just how I like it, and the mix of flavors was like a dance party for my tastebuds.

There’s also a fun farm stand and ice cream place called B&B Flowers nearby (I think that’s the name) and the Pez factory isn’t far (some fun things to do.

Huge burgers and good fries. Service was good.
Some standard pubby food on the menu. The two different stuffed burgers we ordered were cooked just as directed, and very, very good.

Do yourself a favor and try a burger!

The best Lobster roll I had in long time, service is 5 star, you can enjoy the view to the beach.

Great place

Had the very best brussel sprouts on the planet! Also had the cheeseburger sliders which were fantastic! Great friendly atmosphere.
