The food was great! The service was great as well. We went during lunch. Our waitress knows her menu!!! This seems to be a local small business…. I recommend!!! Brussels, fries, grouper…amazing :)

Met a friend after work. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but oncr inside, the inside the restaurant is clean and nice looking. The food was fantastic (3 overstuffed fish tacos), drinks were good (Martini and Purple Rain). The waitstaff was swamped, a little chaotic. We ended up with the wrong bill but it was corrected quickly.

Great little place. Lots of locals. Less than 200 feet from the sand and water. Grilled lobster and cheese was delicious. Lots of lobster, perfect cheese blend, and arugula. Lexi at bar was spot on!

What a great find!!! Specials today was Buffalo fried oysters for an app and egg plant parm for lunch/dinner. Both were AMAZING! Right across the street is oyster river beach. Great view and great atmoshere. Bartender/waitress was amazing and attentive. Tip of the hat to the 2 guys in the kitchen and our awsome bartender!

Good menu. Not just your average beach food like a heavily fried clam strip platter. The Ahi Tuna sandwich is delicious. Just the right amount of Wasabi sauce for that little kick of flavor. Great renovations done since the previous tavern closed. An outside patio and another outdoor seating area on the opposite side.

Great place... Haven't been there in 2 months... But they recognized me.. great food, great selection of beers . Amazing food .. great bar tender... He knows his stuff....

Had the lemon pepper grouper and lobster roll. Spot on! The music was a bit loud, but I'm old. Good lobster bisque and friendly service. The restaurant was unusually empty. Probably time of year.

Great new West Haven restaurant, just opened a two months ago. Very clean, completely rebuilt with good food and vibes. As an added bonus it is right across from the beach with a great view.

Sat at the bar, attentive and friendly service. Nice drinks. Food was fresh and not greasy. Good size portion.

Stopped by dive bar first. It was busy, cluttered, loud and just not very comfortable given the virus. Walked next door to Riptide. Best decision we could have made. The food was great, the environment was comfortable, we could actually hear one another converse and our waitress was great. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed. Order a captains punch for your beverage.. your welcome 👌

Excellent little seafood stop. Full bar and fresh reasonably priced cuisine. Friendly neighborhood feel.

Very good seafood and the staff is top notch. Monday and Tuesday features reduced pricing on raw oysters and clams. Only place I know around here that has grouper on the menu.

This was a great dining experience. The service was fast and well organized. There was no wait to be seated, although it was busy. We went on a Sunday night for some dinner. Our waitress was very nice and friendly as well as knowledgeable of the menu. I had the clam chowder. I have never had a white clam chowder seasoned with dill, It was delicious! I also had the clam cakes and they were really good. My girlfriend had the fish tacos which came with fries. We shared a little of each other's food and enjoyed all of it. I had a pina colada and my girl had cranberry juice. Our waitress was prompt, courteous and had a great personality. The prices were reasonable and appropriate for what we ordered. It was a great meal and experience. We will definitely go back when we are in the area.

Atmosphere was great, Sam was our waitress and she was very friendly and had great customer service skills. I really enjoyed the charred Brussel Sprouts drizzled in a balsamic glaze with pieces of crispy bacon and chunks of blue cheese, IT WAS DELICIOUS and she recommended it!

The only thing I wasn't crazy over was the New England Clam Chowder

My husband our friend and I came here for dinner last night. I had the green goddess salad w ahi tuna I also tried the lime dressing which was delicious also

The food is always exquisite. My favorite is the hot lobster roll, but their soups-lobster bisque, onion soup, salads, and fish dishes are delicious. I just had the shrimp special with crab meat yesterday, and it was over the top! The best part about it is the reasonable prices.

Great experience for lunch midweek. Very nice relaxed but immaculate decor. Top notch attentive service and delicious plentiful food. Had the grouper special, so glad to be able to get this fish in the Northeast! Friend had lobster grilled cheese, we each found our food to our liking and took home about half our meals. Great view of small Oyster River beach across street.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!! Stop your google search for the best lobster roll, lobster bisque, clam chowder ect. Because you found it!!!!!! Lucky you!!!!! By far the best!!! And amazing service!!!!!

Ate here twice in two days because the fresh oysters are simply delectable! So fresh we actually ate two dozens the second time, we basically breathed it down. The fish tacos are really good too, and we had to order it again. Love the ladies working here, very attentive and accommodating. IPA Draft beer was also really good. Dine with a gorgeous view of the sea, simply devine.

Love this neighborhood place. The food is fresh and well prepared. They even throw in some unexpected surprises like fried artichoke hearts, light cornmeal breading on top of a bed of garlicky sauteed spinach. Their New England Clam Chowder is light, creamy and nicely seasoned, no white pasty clomp. The warmth lobster roll is a buttery delight you will have a hard time not ordering every. The place is clean and updated without being fussy and food is delicious!
