Twin Pines Diner Restaurant

This is an iconic local restaurant that lives up to its excellent reputation. Great food, fair prices, friendly prompt service, and the welcoming feel of a classic diner. The portions were huge and everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

I stopped in twin Pines diner restaurant this morning and picked up a bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll sandwich. I called ahead and it was ready when I arrived. I was greeted on the phone and in person by friendly people. The sandwich was a little bit pricey, but then again, it was a very good sandwich, so no complaints there. Overall, I’m happy I stopped here and if I’m working in the area in the future, I will definitely consider returning here again.

We have gone breakfast and dinner prices are very reasonable. Stuff are very friendly, food comes fast. Place is very clean.

My family of 15‐18 was able to get a reservation 2hrs in advance on Easter Sunday (holiday) which they were also busy!! So we were grateful, everyone greatly enjoyed their meal, the private dining hall was perfect for my loud family and it created a wonderful atmosphere for us to fellowship and our waitress (I'm so bad🤦🏾‍♀ with names, but my 😠 sister know it and ❤ her😱🤭🤫) She went above and beyond to make sure all of our requests and stomachs were satisfied 😌! She was on point! We waited a lil while for food but it was well worth it!!! Thank you for making our Easter (Resurrection) Holiday end perfectly 🥰 The Challah French toast was to die for!🤭😋🥰

One of the best places around to get breakfast (hungry man special) every time.

This is one of the diners local to us, and it's by the far the best around here. Breakfast is their best time to visit but dinner isn't bad either. The soup options are always great.

Great prices for pretty good food and amazing dessert options. So many! We love going there. The dinner specials are a good option for a nice dinner.

When you walk in the decorations are beautiful and you are welcomed by the receptionist and brought right to your seat. The service was quick and the amount of food you get is amazing and so is the price. Food was also delicious. Best place i have eaten in a long time. If you haven't tried it you should make it a must.

Have eaten here at Twin Pines Diner twice. You are getting a bargain if you order off the all inclusive menu. You get soup and salad and dessert served with your meal.
The menu is extensive! Lots to choose from. We liked it so much, we've decided to work our way through the menu.
Both servers were amazing. You'll be greeted at the door and seated. Then offered beverages. The Cappuccino is amazing! The fresh whipped cream on top is the bomb!
Please order the prime rib! It's huge! Couldn't finish our meals, so we took dessert home.
Cauliflower au gratin was horrible. It was just Cauliflower with a cheese sauce. Not au gratin. But that is my only complaint. The bread is made fresh and served warm. I'd go back just for the bakery! Wow!

Our waitress was Kaitlyn and she was very pleasant, knowledgeable of the food options, and was prompt in her timing and service to our family. We loved our time there revisiting old memories. The menu is extensive and the prices are super affordable, I must admit I have paid more formless food at fastfood restaurants and this was fresh and made to order. We will def return, I want a chocolate

Very nice, friendly restaurant. Food was like comfort food. Had a great variety. I wished we lived closer to try a new dish each week. Great desserts. Charming owner and staff. Well worth the visit.

One of the best diners in the East Haven area. Always fast service and great food. Parking can be annoying at times but we have never had an issue waiting for a table. If you want to swing by for a quick sandwich or omelette it's hard to do better.

Very large menu, lots of specials. Service is very good and so is the food. Owner keeps a close eye on everything so it is very well run. I had a hamburger club sandwich which i managed to make two meals out of. Soups are always very good too. I highly recommend this diner.

I went last week early in the morning and was seated on the right side and was served by a lady with longish black hair. I wish I could remember the waitresses name but she was extremely attentive and I felt well cared for. I would come again because of her. She was truly a gem.

Love their stuffed cabbage and stuffed salmon is to die for!! They have a huge dessert menu. I love their linzer tarts, cheescake and rice pudding,all made right on the premises!

I arrived after my 4 friends. Their meals came to the table and they were GIGANTIC AMOUNTS of food, beautifully arranged with sides of toast or whatever and i couldnt believe how they were going to eat it all. I was about to order my plate when they all shouted NO! There was so much delicious food i couldnt even eat everything they shared w me! Pancakes w fruit, diff types of omlettes, chicken tenders w fries. Enough to feed an army! FABULOUS. EXCELLENT SERVICE ALL AROUND

Massive menu selection for breakfast lunch and dinner and you can pretty much order whatever you want any time of day you want. Great food, great prices, very nice inside also. An East Haven landmark.

Atmosphere is so cozy! A classic American diner with great food and great prices! We also had an excellent serving experience! Will be going back soon,
