D’Orlandos Pizza—-Formerly DeLucia’s Pizza and Restaurant

They are in my plaza so I order from them once or twice a week. The pizza is my favorite in town. They make everything there so we often buy their dough when we are baking pizza at home, but anyone who says their pizza is not awesome, has some kind of grudge or doesn’t know what pizza is. The stuffed breads are enormous and delicious and their eggplant parm is some of the best I have ever had. I get a salmon or chicken Caesar here weekly and it is always made to order with crisp romaine, croutons and parm and moist chicken or salmon. The new owners are lovely. I’m grateful to work next to a great lunch spot and be able to bring dinner home for my family after work.

We went to DeLucia's for the first time last night and it was wonderful! Atmosphere is great, very comfortable and everyone makes you feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious! From the warm bread to the salad to the main entrees to the (to die for) cannoli's! We can't wait to come back and bring our friends so they can enjoy this excellent restaurant. Please check it out A.S.A.P. You won't be sorry.

Never been to you restaurant but my grandfather was Frank DeLucia and died many years ago. He had 13 kids so I love you for your heritage we may be related.

Top rate pizza and the best stuffed breads around! Gotta try the fresh cannoli too! Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommended.

Had their lasagna and it was delicious. Highly recommend Delucia's pizza for your catering.

Worst grilled chicken salad I've ever had. Super dry, cold, unseasoned chicken. I asked what kind of dressing they have and she said "we put some balsamic in there so you're all set" not a big deal but I've never not been asked what dressing I want for a salad, and the balsamic didn't really taste like anything. It also came with a stale, flavorless dinner roll. Unfortunately I didn't know it wasn't Pepe and Rose anymore until I pulled up or I would've waited to see reviews. I got there 10 min after I called when they said 20 mins so I was expecting to wait but my salad was ready since they didn't cook the chicken even in the last hour.

There's so many great pizza places in branford/east haven I definitely wouldn't waste your money. I forced down 4 bites and threw the rest out.

Our family ordered take-out pizza a few nights ago and it was a disappointment. The pizza was thinner than we had experienced the first time we had it right after the acquisition of Pepe & Rose. The point of the slices so thin and therefore mushy they would droop over half way up the slice. The mozzarella was extremely oily and salty indicative of poor quality.

Initially, I had great difficulty reaching them by phone, ringing excessively until it disconnected. On the 5th or 6th try I got through and spoke to TONY. He was insensitive to my complaint. I said I would not return. He relied, “thank you for your information”. Since I was almost to the restaurant at that point, I went to speak to him in person. He was unprofessional as he became defensive and could care less.

Miss you Pepe & Rose! It is NOT better!!
