Came down to watch the game and have some food. I love the fresh made gnocchi colognes, fantastic! My buddy had the gnocchi Della casa with added calamari, OUTSTANDING!!. Price has a bearing. But there is no room for discussion about the freshness or quality of food. For posting purposes, $20 is very inexpensive for the quality here. Totally recommend this place

When you find an excuse for a treat keep this establishment on your radar! Delectable meals every time I go, along with delightful staff keeps me coming back. With or without anchovies is a matter of preference but the special pizza is always a reason to cheer our household!

I had an incredible dining experience at Ilforno Ristorante Italiano.... from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that transported me to Italy. The biggest standout was our server Anthony, ready to answer our questions or fulfill our requests he always displayed genuine enthusiasm in helping us navigate through the options.

The food was a true delight. From the delicious homemade bread rolls to the flavors were authentic and each dish was prepared with care. The homemade pasta was a standout, perfectly cooked and paired with rich, flavorful sauces that left me craving for more. It's rare to find a restaurant that pays so much attention to detail, both in presentation and taste.

The exceptional service continued throughout the afternoon, with Anthony ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we were comfortable. His friendly demeanor and professionalism added an extra layer to the overall experience. It's clear that the staff takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about their guests.

I love there chicken Parmesan dinner and if you by two you get a discount and the pizza good to in a littal cosey place

One of my favorite classic Italian joints in CT. Never unsatisfied by any of the dishes and they always hit the spot. Hidden gem on Branford Hill. Even when getting takeout, one of the workers, Amanda, makes sure everything is running smoothly upfront and keeps the place in quality motion. Great moods and service

My family has been going to Ilforno since before I was born. They have catered my highschool graduation, my 21st birthday, my fiance's college graduation, and many other life celebrations and weeknight dinners. The food is always fantastic, and they have been able to provide special order gluten free meals when needed. Their gluten free tray of eggplant parmesan and gluten free tray of artichoke hearts were so good most of our guests didn't realize it was gluten free. Ilforno is the perfect place for a fancy sit down celebration, a weeknight dinner to go, or to pick up a pizza!

Best pizza place in town ordered a large meatball it never disappoints

Zuppa de pese was one of the best i ever had. I wife had sole calabrese was very good could not finish it. Hreat service and price. Highly recommend.

We just recently went to il fornos for dinner and it was extremely good. We had a party of 8 and everyone was thoroughly satisfied. The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions plentiful. It’s a nice cozy dining room that makes you feel as if you’re home. My wife loved the chicken marsala so much that she ordered some trays of it for Easter Sunday. We all were happy we went and will be back in the future. Definitely worth going if you have never been in, you’ll thank me later.

A hidden gem! Anthony’s dishes are always fantastic! The lasagna and gnocchi are top notch. Our family also loves the chicken parm meal special. You won’t be disappointed with any of the food from here.

We ordered party trays for my Son’s first birthday and the food was fantastic. Very generous portion sizes and our party guests were very pleased. The owner was even kind enough to make a special small order of cavatelli and broccoli for my son and I to share due to our dietary restrictions. No need to search for another restaurant! Il Forno has everything you need for a great party!

First time eating here on Friday night and the food was absolutely amazing. The owner sat down with us and had coffee and dessert. They by far are one of the best Italian restaurants around. Their pizza is outstanding and their dinners are just as good. Can’t wait to go back

The rolls are so unbelievably delicious they don't even have to be dipped or buttered! I have never in my 38 years eaten a better roll!

Excellent dining experience! The best tomato sauce ever! The rolls were to die for. Make sure you get them toasted with butter! Absolutely great service! Friendly and attentive. Owners stopped by to make sure the experience was fantastic.
