Kathy's Famous Cookies

If you’ve never heard of Milford, CT—you’ll never forget it once you visit Kathy’s Famous Cookies. This place is a dessert lover’s paradise. Kathy has to be the Willy Wonka of cookies and biscotti. The cookies are legit huge. And the amazing part is that the cookies are baked perfectly. In past experiences, cookies that large are either over or under cooked. Not Kathy’s! And somebody forgot to give Kathy the memo on the standard size of these treats, because her biscotti is like biscotti on steroids!! Ridiculously large and flavorful! My biggest regret is not pulling up to her store with a U-Haul because there is so much more that I’d like to try. Rest assured, I will be back on my next trip to Milford.

8.9.23 The minute you walk in, you can't help but smile because visually everything looks just amazing. And the smells of fresh baked goodies is very powerful and it's all just delicious. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. And many many selections of huge cookies cupcakes and all sorts of yummies.

On first arrival I was in shock!!!!! I was looking for somewhere to get dessert with my boyfriend and they had the biggest cookies I’ve seen on earth! The scones and biscotti are to die for and I mean it! This is definitely going to be a new favorite spot for us ❤

Custom ordered vegan cupcakes for my son’s birthday as he has a milk and egg allergy. The cupcakes were HUGE had great flavor and were very moist. My husband (who is far from vegan) said you couldn’t even tell the difference!

The 2 warmest people welcome you in to a store store that smells like butter and sugar. Everything looked amazing and what we ended up with (cookies and cupcakes) were all delicious. Amazing experience!

Kathy did all of the desserts (Cookies, truffles) for my wedding recently! She was outstandingly helpful, very knowledgable and extremely patient with us as we made several changes throughout the ordering process! My husband and I have been going to Kathy's Cookies for years and just couldn't deny how much we wanted them at our wedding! Kathy prepared an amazing ensemble of MANY different cookies and truffles for our wedding! She even went out of her way to check the weather around our wedding location to see if dipping the cookies in chocolate was a good idea! She was amazing and I cannot recommend her enough, just for her extraordinary service.
Now, with that being said, the cookies and truffles were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. This goes without saying, but they were a hit! Everyone loved them, and many guests even took some to go as treats! I cannot recommend her and her delicious cookies enough! If your looking for cookies or other desserts for your upcoming event, look no further than Kathy's Famous Cookies!

These cookies are great! We bought some as a thank you to our neighbor and decided to split one with my husband on the way home... DELICIOUS! Will 100% be contancting them for an order for my 30th birthday!

Amazing cupcakes and cookies. Tried several of the cupcakes and the large peanut butter cookie. One of the best cookies I’ve ever had. Soft and full of flavor. The cupcakes are great, make sure to let them sit about 30 minutes after taking out of the fridge to eat. Allows the cream and cake to soften up. Worth checking out. Met the owner on my visit as well, Kathy, she was so friendly and the enthusiasm she shared about her baked goods was awesome.

I came in while I was on a trip from Alabama and I will forever come back every time I'm in town! Everything was amazing and my entire local waffle house loves them! The ginger snaps are simply perfect, the chocolate chip cookies are a big hit with my kids, the single cookies and muffin tops are huge, the frosting on the red velvet cupcake was hands down the best cream cheese frosting I had ever had from a bakery! The lady was so nice and made me feel extremely welcomed! I came back in the day I was leaving town. Even though it was extremely busy, She came from the back when I was checking out and remembered everything we talked about!

Best scones in the world! I don’t even like scones much but these babies are my fave!!! The smell in the bakery is so good you almost feel like you’re eating the treats just as you walk in. This bakery is scrumptious.

Absolutely one of the best! I needed a custom plate of cookies made for a client on short notice, and not only did they pull it off, they absolutely knocked out of the park. 100% worth your time and your money 🙂

A lovely representative bought cookies from this bakery for the staff in our office .. I lived in milford during my childhood years and WISH I came across it sooner!!! The cookies were absolutely amazing. They were huge!! And just delicious. I will be making a trip to milford for some more.

Had a road trip to Milford for the day to sight see and make a couple of shopping stops and we HAD to stop by Kathy’s cookies. The moment you enter you are invited by beautiful sweets and smiles from the staff. The location is decorated beautifully with an amazing selection to choose from. I found the bakery via tik tok and had to share with the owner. Kathy was so ecstatic that her business was mentioned online and bringing in new traction. She took the time to describe each cupcake and scones to us, even gave us her favorite recommendations. Her delightful kindness and enjoyment in her craft truly made this something I want to come back to. I really hope everyone can have an opportunity to stop and see Kathy and her team to enjoy their AMAZING treats.

First time in this bakery and I will definitely be back ! Everything looked so good but I got 2 muffins (which were huge ) and a bag of the Oatrageous cookies that a customer in front of me actually recommended. Next time I’m gonna try the scones or maybe the biscotti or heck probably both! The staff was very friendly, greeting you as soon as you walk in. Highly recommend even if you’re not in the Milford area it’s worth the drive :)

My girlfriend and I are OBSESSED with Kathy's Famous Cookies. The best cookies in Connecticut, FOR SURE.

Just found our go-to spot for sweet treats in Connecticut! We got cookies, scones, and the truffle cakes and everything was ridiculously good.

The scones are soft and sweet (almond microwaved for 20-30s is so good).

Cookies were large, crunchy and chewy, macadamia white chocolate was my fave. Funfetti was devoured by my 5 year old.

The highlight though was the truffle cakes. Wow. They are like cake pops, bur large enough to share. Super moist. Super heavy. Chocolate covered. Creamsicle was my wife’s favorite. Brother enjoyed the coconut coconut.
