La Lupa Ristorante

Another local restaurant we recently visited, had a gift card and decided to stop in for lunch. Walked in a were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was very well versed in the dishes they offered and made our choices easier. We started with a Burrata plate with melons, prosciutto, and a fresh ball of burrata cheese sliced and placed on fresh bread. Sausage with broccoli rabe done just right. I ordered Linguini Pescatore, clams, shrimp, mussels and sea bass. My wife ordered Sea bass Milanese, lemon wine sauce and spinach. All the food was great with the only knock was that my wife's Sea bass was a little on the soggy side, but tasted amazing. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking available. Although we stopped in the winter, it is setup for outdoor dining when the warmer weather returns. For some reason my pc won't let me upload any other photos. Trust me LaLuna does food right, might be a little pricey but well worth it.

I have been to this location twice within a week. The food was delicious. I had the special avocado salad and added chicken. So delicious. I also share the eggplant rollatini app with a friend. I highly recommend this place. The staff was friendly and the vibe was good.

This is the real Italian restaurant.
Everytime I go there, I will never be disappointed,the food is simply amazing.
The people are super friendly and nice.
The atmosphere give you really nice sensation.
The quality of the food is out of discussion, OMG.

Lots of Food.....and It's All Good Food
This was our first visit and we were very impressed! The pork chop special was so massive that my wife took 1-1/2 of the 2 giant pork chops home. The accompanying polenta was very tasty with good consistency. You really need to look at the Special Menu online before you go to the restaurant. Our very good waitress, Sarah, spent a long time listing all the specials from memory. Because there are probably two dozen of them, it's impossible to remember them all when trying to make a selection. I was waiting for the waitress to list the pane cotto I saw on the online menu, but she didn't mention it. When I asked about the pane cotto, she said, "Sure, we can make that for you." I had the vitello valdostana (veal scallopini topped with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and eggplant), which was also excellent. After our leftovers were packaged, Sarah went through a long list of deserts, and I settled on the cherry amaretto gelato, but I would have been very happy with half a dozen other selections. La Lupa has quickly zoomed to one of the top restaurants on our list of favorites for several good reasons. We will definitely be back!

The food was outstanding. The amount of food on every dish including mine was enough for lunch leftovers. Definitely recommend La Lupa.

The best Italian food I’ve had in a while. Got the eggplant bolognese. It was outstanding. The stuffed shrimp was amazing as well. Best Pasta e fagoli I’ve ever had. Along with their bread and drinks. The only thing I would say is that they had told me to let them know next time that I didn’t want my spinach spicy, but who would’ve known it was spicy, usually spinach isn’t spicy. But overall phenomenal food. We will be back for sure!

I had the pleasure of taking my daughter and wife out for lunch. It was my daughter's pre birthday gift and we landed at La Lupa in North Haven.
Since covid relaxing we ventured out and had a very impressive meal.
Started with an order of fried calamari , the ladies ordered the pan seared salmon and I had the veal dish.
Our waitress was very accommodating and plesant.
I will say the portions were extraordinary, the quality was above my expectations and everyone left with a doggie bag.

I give them 5 stars and highly recommended them. $$

Very cool atmosphere and vibe. We sat outside on their adorable pateo. That staff were all super nice. The pizza was out of this world and I wish I took pictures. I will definitely be back, so stay tuned for an updated review with tons of pictures!

First time here, Val was our server she was outstanding food was amazing omg the size of the portions we were stuffed!! Great cocktails and dessert definitely be back thank you La Lupa for a great dinner Greg and Remi

The chicken marsala dish was superb... The roasted vegetables and whipped mashed potatoes were perfect sides to accompany the thinly sliced chicken breast. La Lupa earns a five star review for quality, service, and atmosphere...

Extensive bar selection to choose from, knowledgeable & attentive staff, lots of specials to choose from. Big portions! Come hungry and with friends!

La Lupa is always so good. It's our go-to for Italian food in North Haven.

We came here for Mother’s Day. It was packed when we got in but our table was all set for us. Our server was very knowledgeable and efficient. Water glass was always full. Our appetizers and main course were cooked to perfection. So much flavor! Drinks— delicious. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

Recently ate here with the family and to say it was great sells it short. The food and staff are amazing. Grandma could stop raving about the food and from an Italian grandmother speaks volumes. Certainly has become a favorite restaurant amongst the family. 5 stars to Arturo in the kitchen for sure!!

First time here, loved it. Had an amazing chicken soup and a salmon piccata.

Amazing food and best cocktail I ever had! The papardelle with lobster in sherry sauce was the most delectable meal I've ever had. The only thing that was a little lackluster was the bread (should be serving crusty bread with olive oil not soft bread) but everything else made up for it so overall 100% 5 stars, would definitely recommend!
