Dev’s on Main is just a great dining experience and gets high ratings in all areas. We decided to go tapas style for this dinner experience. There were three of us which is a perfect number for this style eating as many of the small bites dishes have at least three pieces to share. We started by being offer a complementary sample of a Stomping Horse wine from Washington state along with a goat cheese spread on a crostini. This was enough to convince one in our party to get the red wine while I decided to partake in both types of sangria. The first round was Vegetable Purses with two dipping sauces (soy and spicy sambal) and Crispy Pork Meatballs also with dipping sauce. Everything was delicious including the dipping sauces. The sambal sauce was very nice and not very spicy. The meatballs were wrapped in linguini and deep fried which made them crispy. The next round consisted of Steak Florence, Fathead Chicken, Wu Chow Shrimp and Fried Scallops. The Steak Florence was served with a blueberry Chianti sauce. That was a great combination, blueberries and steak. The Fathead Chicken was “slathered with a honey drizzle- unbelievably great. The other two dishes, one shrimp and one scallop, were for the seafood lovers and satisfied that hankering. The accompanying dipping sauces were excellent especially the Tabasco garlic dipping sauce which we used for both seafood dishes. The last and final round consisted of the Tuscan Bruschetta, Garlic Shrimp and Mongolian Beef. The picture of the Garlic Shrimp does not do it justice because it is covered up by the bread. But the shrimp is being bathed in a garlic butter sauce and the bread is for soaking up all that delicious blend. We save room for two desserts and both very interesting and fun. The great thing about Dev’s is the great service and all those delicious dishes; shrimp, scallops, beef, chicken, pork, dipping sauces, signature drinks and desserts, can be experienced in one sitting. There is no better value in dining than that. I highly recommend this restaurant for great dining. Just be advised that if there is a show at the Niantic Playhouse down the street, then it might be advisable to plan your reservation time accordingly.

Can you say OMG??!!🥰🙏🏻🥳 what a treat this was! I’ve been waiting to get in there for year just because I don’t live over in that direction and finally this past week. I got there.

Actually, my husband and I got there and we totally enjoyed ourselves. We sat down at a table and enjoyed a few hors d’oeuvres.

The service was great. The ambience was wonderful and the food was delicious.!

We shared a salad that was absolutely sublime reminiscent of Huey’s Love salad.

We also had the bruschetta which was absolutely delicious! We finished off with the three little lamb chops they have on their hors d’oeuvre menu. The texture was great. For some reason the taste seemed to have a little fishy taste -as if they had grilled it on the grill that had just had fish grilled on it. 🤷🏻‍♀ I would try them again, because as I said, the texture was fabulous.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience top to bottom! The menu looks wonderful surprises are great and with the great service that we had you can’t do any better than that! 😉

This is likely my favorite restaurant in Niantic. The food and drinks are both delicious. I love that many of the food offerings are dishes I wouldn't normally make at home. This is mostly tapas 6 the portions are small, and it can get pricey, but I think it is worth it. My favorite drink is the pistachio martini. For food I love anything with short ribs.

We always love Dev's, and have had varied experiences. Sometimes the owner (and her mom!) visit the tables...we have had fun chatting with her while seated at the bar on several occasions. The food is ALWAYS AMAZING and recently we noticed the various staff have been so welcoming, accommodating, and really just on top of their game! Cheers to Dev's on Main!

What a great experience. Weary travels after a long flight. Had no idea where to eat especially with a major wheat allergy. Stopped in here and we were blown away by the food. I ordered a steak with a horseradish cream sauce and truffle chips. The best casual dinner out in years. The steak was expertly prepared and presliced. Chips prepared fresh. My husband order a surf and turf that was delicious and beautifully presented. I seriously don't know how they execute a menu like theirs. It's extensive and covers so many regions and cultures. Wait staff was great and we had a warming salt candle on our table. The atmosphere was lively and convivial with locals. A super cute town, too.

We just had a great experience with superb food and outstanding service (thanks, Tiffany!). It was a Tuesday night, but a great early fall evening, so the crowd was just right. We had the lamb chop starter. These chops were done perfectly and tasted so good I had the full-size portion for my main. My wife had the chicken parm. Both were great! That, with a good bottle of wine made a perfect evening.
We’ll be back!

Recently moved to town and decided to take a chance on a new place. Employees are kind and warm, manager came out and introduced herself, Tiffany, they came up with a cocktail for Empress "bee's knees" went from violet to lavender. Was very happy to find this tapas restaurant.

The small plates here are delicious, especially the salmon! The service was great and the bartender makes delicious drinks! It can get a bit loud so if you’re looking for something quiet this might not be the place. We love the atmosphere and the decor.

We had a wonderful dining experience this evening. They were very busy and some would say the service was slow but the short wait between course's allowed us to dine and talk with our friend who we had not seen in a while. Our menu choices were artistically plated and delicious. So nice Candace and Bunny are here in Niantic and I wish them great success in their new location. I'm sure their New London regulars will follow and add to the great mix if restaurants of our town 👏😋

Our waitress was delightful and fun, never pushy, but knew how to keep our glasses full. Wine list was ample (it's never easy to find a vinho verde on a list). Food was amazing, had four small plates and dessert (chocolate mousse cake to die for), and we were both more than full. Don't miss the goat cheese croatini either!

Have been twice, once daytime and once evening. The cocktails are excellent, and the decor is moody/cool/fun/modern. Food is tasty, and plated with thought. My server the second visit was just ok (nbd.. it happens), but everything else was great, down to the music. Absolutely recommend!

The restaurant is in the old Dunkin Donuts building on Main St. The decor was cool. It was a full house on a Wednesday night so it was a little too loud in there. No carpeting on the floor, so more noise. It was a painted cement type of floor. It was a little too chilly in there tonight.
But the food we had was excellent. I had a Low Low burger with bacon, cheddar cheese and a garlic spread on the bread. My bread was a cibaccia roll. Very nice roll. The garlic dressing was not too strong at all. Just the right amount. It came with home made potato chips that were delicious.
15$ for that meal. My friend had a green goddess salad with spinach leaf lettuce, raisins and boiled egg. She added chicken. She loved it. Hers was 20 $ with the added chicken. My other friend had this Asian noodle soup and a beet salad. She loved hers too.
Around 20 for hers also.
Our waitress Jacqueline was a very good server.
It was a delicous dinner for all of us.

A little pricy and smaller interior a little claustrophobic.
It was very busy so the wait was a little longer the place was completely packed.
The food was great however.
Highly recommend. Cozy little place. Good drinks.
