Oh my goodness! This is the epitome of an unassuming exterior hiding a true gem inside. The Portuguese menu served is truly some of the best meals I have ever tasted. It's a unique menu compared of brilliant executions of staples (clams in a red sauce) and the more adventurous (Dobrada). I can not recommend it highly enough!

The sauce for the steak was good but steak had way to much fat and was hard I didn’t like it.

It's so hard to find good Portuguese food in CT. This Portuguese bar restaurant is an oasis in a desert of mediocre food. I've been here several times and each time the food was amazing. The staff is awesome too. Don't sleep on this place. If you're looking for delicious eats you won't find a better place in the area.

Went there for my birthday. One of many restaurants on my list of places to visit in ct. The food, service and atmosphere was so amazing. Cozy little restaurant filled with so much love. I felt so relaxed and happy. I can't wait to go back. Our server nate was an absolute sweetheart.

I’m not one to normally write reviews, but the food and service here is amazing. Definitely worth a try if you’ve never been! We were there last night to celebrate a friends birthday. To start…. Nothing better than hot fresh rolls to dip in the sauce from the shrimp mozambique and quail appetizers. For dinner, the pork and clam, Portuguese steak and Paella were on point. Besides the food, the owners made us feel like we were guests in their home, and the servers and bartenders were awesome. After dinner dinner we headed over to the bar area and finished the night off with some impromptu karaoke. One of the best nights ever!!!

Don’t let the outside fool you. The place is small but very comfortable and the food is delicious. I had the lamb. It was a bit salty but it was still good. The owner is very pleasant, a very nice lady. Her husband needs a bit more people skills. I will definitely go again.

This will definitely be my go to for seafood. My dinner was perfect! The owner (I’m assuming) was very nice and spent time explaining the different dishes as I wasn’t familiar with some items on the menu. The rice pudding was delicious too.

Great Portuguese restaurant. Grilled octopus came out amazing and I really liked the quail. Food was authentic and very good. Location was small but didn't feel cramped. Service was gracious and the price reflects the quality.

First time here. Had dinner grilled octopus, delicious and the wife had shrimp Angola delicious as well.

My wife and I split the ribeye Portuguese style steak and eggs. We both were so full on 1 dish we were shocked. The flavor was better than a place I go to in little Portugal (Fall River). Carlos is awesome as well. I will always go back.

What a hidden gem! I was in Naugatuck and did a web search and found this place. I’ve been by it hundreds of tunes but never stopped in because it isn’t at all attractive grub the outside. What a mistake! If you’re in Naugatuck you need to stop in here.

Won a gift certificate in a raffle, decided to do take out today, steak and a shrimp appetizer. The friendliest staff and the food is SO AMAZING! We will definitely be back soon

Awesome, authentic Portuguese food... like you are back in the old country. Reasonable prices and large portions... cant go wrong here eat in or take out.
