Amazing little Jewel of a place on the corner overlooking the beach. Super clean, food was absolutely fantastic. Service was great and the staff were very kind. I was on crutches, and they could not be more hospitable to help me out.
I had the equivalent of a Reuben sandwich, which was out of this world. My friend had a tuna melt on English muffin piled high, and it was fantastic.

We have been coming to Prospect
Beach House for a few years now. The food is excellent reasonably price great service and the cook will make something if not seen on the menu and something he can do. The staff are always smiling , making you feel at home and Chris the owner goes above and beyond !! You won't be disappointed

Not only was the setting and food delicious, but the service was friendly and helpful. Furthermore, after reading the reviews, I have the upmost respect for the owner and his esteem and his staff. More business owners should have the same value in their staff. Thanks for a delicious lunch on a sunny day. Will recommend to anyone.

Who knew West Haven would have such an incredible little sandwich shop! Lovely, quaint, clean store right across from the beach! The chicken salad was absolutely to die for and I don’t even have enough words to describe how scrumptious the potato and tuna mac salsa were! I live in New Haven and would drive all the way out here just for a sandwich! WOW!

Went again after over a year of not living in the area. I'm happy to say their food is delicious and still hit the spot like it always has. Had the Breakfast Burrito for lunch. My wife enjoyed her ham egg and cheese. I ordered also a build your own salad and that thing went down no problem, was planning to only eat half and devoured the whole thing.

Great all around! The outside entry way looks great! The inside is great too with the exposed bricks. The staff was super friendly and smart. The food was awesome as well. I got the cheesesteak and it was delicious! Definitely recommend it for when you are in the West Shore area. If you are a person who likes views, this place is also for you as there are great views of the Long Island Sound. It's right across the street from the beach so during the summer when you're at the beach, stop by and get some sandwiches for the beach. It was really fresh and had a nice Country/Beach concept. Overall, I loved this place!

Real friendly staff and good food at decent prices. I come here probably once a week or once every two weeks for lunch. The quality has been reliable so far. This place is a favorite among locals.

The menu doesn't have anything too fancy. If you're looking for something simple by the beach, I would recommend this place. It's a small place so it can get busy sometimes.

They have limited small tables for parties of two indoors. They also have outdoor picnic benches which are meh. Best bet is probably to get your food to go and eat by the beach.

Amazing deli. Went there for lunch this afternoon for the first time. I hold my “Italian’s subs” to a very high standard, and this one exceeded my expectations. Great bread, quality meats, and great ratio with the veggies and oil and vinegar. Fantastic all around and a great vibe right next to the beach. I’ll be back

I love this place such a great addition to the area! Ill grab a sandwich when im on the beach or even order food when I am working from home during all this craziness! The clam chowder is amazing and my husband and I have never had a bad meal. Highly recommend this local spot.

Just moved to the area and so happy to have found my new go-to place. The place is so welcoming, all the employees were so kind and the food is insane. Order a different sandwich each day with my coffee and a muffin or cookie. Give it a shot and you won’t be disappointed if you like kind employees and good food. Damn.

Prospect Beach House Deli & Market is a neighborhood gem!!! Chris and his staff are amazing and the food will exceed your expectations. Recently he catered my daughters wedding day breakfast. I could not have been more pleased with the quality and presentation of the food platters- Chris even delivered everything to my home. I highly recommend Prospect Market for all your catering needs- You will NOT be disappointed!!!

Phillysteak was great. Nice having a place for takeout outside. No having to go inside to get an order. Truly a beach go to foodies heaven. Accross from beach. I went farther down the road to eat at Bradley memorial park. Beautiful there and the ocean was a great place to watch the water and eat a delicious sandwich.

Amazing experience!
Very friendly staff, diverse menu selection, everyone in our group was pleased with there meal. I had the lobster roll and it was the best I’ve had all summer! I’ll definitely be coming back!
