We ordered a tray of pasta and salad (to go)last minute for a gathering we put together and this restaurant is top notch! Not only was Steve very accommodating , the food fantastic, abundant and delicious, friendly service; you will find the prices are very reasonable! If you have not dined or ordered out from this restaurant, you are missing out!

Food is always good. Never had a bad meal in all my years of going there. Best clam chowder in town too

The GG has been a staple of the area for as long as I can remember. Pretty much can get any type of food, seafood, Italian, steaks, and the only place around with their great salad bar. They have a number of different seating areas with amble seating. My cousin thinks they have the best Seafood Newburgh, and he owns Miltowne Grill. My uncle says their Prime Rib is the best as well. Service is usually good as well. They can get pretty pack on the weekends. There is a large bar area where you can catch the game and grab a drink. I'm not sure they do everything great since it's such a hugh diverse menu, but odds are its probably going to be good, whatever you great.

I have brought my Mom here almost every Friday for lunch, for the past 4 years. Yankee Pot Roast, Pork Chop and Baked Potato, Fish and Chips, Gyro Sandwich with fries, Lasagna, Chicken Parm, Baked Sea Scallops, Prime Rib, and Pasta with Meatballs or sausage are our favorites. The salad bar and soups are always fresh and so tasty. I have to have a cup of both chowders every Friday! I can't pick a favorite. So delicious! Tacy, Tanya and Angela (So sorry if spelling is off!) are SUPER amazing! They all know how to handle my husband when he joins us. He can be a handful, lol. Last week they had an issue with the heat in the room where we normally sit. They tried to sit us somewhere warmer as Mom is almost 90 and a bit frail. Mom insisted to sit in her normal spot. (Stubborn!) Tacy brought her jacket over for Mom to wear to stay warm. I have never seen a server go so far above and beyond for a guest. We do love the food here but it is the friendly service that keeps us coming back!

I had the fried scallops, and my sister had the fish n chips. This came with full salad bar & and awesome clam chowder, both white or Manhattan. Excellence all the way around. Prices were very reasonable.

Phenomenal food, phenomenal customer service, and salad bar is the best around. if you're thinking of going here, don't even think twice, just go and have a great time. You will go back again and again. I love this place!!!

I have loved this restaurant since they first opened down the street from where I grew up. The food is always wonderful and the seafood is always fresh. The pizza is my absolute favorite in the world. Highly, highly recommended.

I am still very impressed with this location. The owner Dennis and his wife took care of us. They catered my company Christmas party this year. The price was great. The food was amazing warm on time. This is still my number one place to go for catering. I definitely recommend them. Their lasagna is to die for, all of my technicians loved the options we had for the party

First time going here 10.1.22. Went for take out staff was quick to take our order. We got a small pizza and roast beef sandwich took about 12 minutes to make. Was a 5 out of 5 great food. Typical pizza atmosphere and average pricing. We moved to putnam two months ago and can’t seem to find a good sandwich/pizza joint. This is our new spot!! Keep up the great work.

Dinner was good. Something for everyone. The chicken franchaise sauce would rival most fancy Italian restaurants I’ve been to.

Co-worker and myself enjoyed a phenomenal dinner. Drinks were cold and the service was fantastic!

This was my third visit here during a trip to the area. They have an amazing salad and soup bar that's included with most entrees. The garlic chicken was amazing!

This place was open when I was little and we use to go every week or once a month. We loved the food and the service. I came back to visit my family and fell in love with the soft fish for my fish and chips, the salad bad and the clam chowder. I missed having a good New England soup and the golden Greek gave me just that. The bread is always fresh and so soft. They've kept the wood in the place intact and it looks just the same. Thank you for giving us a great place to get together when I visit family.

It was a monthly get together of sorts and the waitress and food was on point. It's a cozy atmosphere where the management is friendly and the waitresses are friendly and good at their jobs and are pretty much on top of things.

Everything was excellent! Went here for a birthday dinner and had a very pleasant experience. 10/10 Would recommend.

We visit this restaurant once a year every year on our vacation. Even though is a bit drive from our location it is absolutely worth a drive. It is a must to visit restaurant for us. Absolutely the best Seafood Newburg there is. This dish is out of this world prepared to perfection.

Every time our team is working a holiday and we need to feed an army, The Golden Greek is on the list of restaurants we always order from. They take great care to make sure the order is accurate, which is very important when you have 10 different people getting 10 different things. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. And the staff is always super friendly and accommodating - highly recommended!

Since moving to North Carolina, I can not get a Lobster Caserole. Or a Lobster of any kind. The Golden Greek has always had great food. The salad bar was amazing. The bar tenders make amazing drinks. The only thing I do not like there is the pizza. The pizza is way to greasy. But with that being I loved the Golden Greek. I never had a bad experience

The food was good and a very big portion for the price. The salad bar was really good, too. Definitely a nice family restaurant.

I always enjoy coming here. I love the soup and salad bar as well as the fish and chips! 10/10. Must visit!

The seafood Newburg is out of this world!!!
