Doolittle Park

Very spacious and well kept park. The park is set in a quiet neighborhood, with the YMCA across the street. There are porta-potty’s there too.

It has two baseball fields, basketball, tennis, covered picnic area with plenty of tables, walking trail, and an all ages children’s playground.

The children playground had lots of unique hands on activities. There was an entire giant sand area with activities to do with the the sand. Plenty of stuff to do for all ages. The ground is wood chips. The park is completely fenced in too.

Beautiful park. My Daughter and Grandson love it. Wide open making it very easy to watch the kids, but still allow the adults to relax at the same time. Nothing that obstructs your view. Very clean. Farmer's market happens here too.

This is a beautiful park with lots of activities for toddlers to adults. I wish the parks in New Haven were well kept up like Wallingford parks and rec does.

Fun park for the kids, very large and set away from the road. There is also two sets of activity areas, one is designed for younger children. My daughter had a great time.

There at least once a week. No shade on actual playground but benches and pavillion provide nice place to sit. Kids love it. Trees not yet cleaned up but are roped off.

Wallingford Garden Market is hosted here on the weekend. 10/10! Very nice space, nice playground and a really beautiful covered picnic area.

I honestly miss the way it used to be but still a nice park in a nice quiet neighborhood. Happen to have a creeper lurking around the last time we were there though but that happens sometimes just about anywhere. Usually a really nice spot though, has the flat short path too going around the park that's easy for very young children. My daughter's 6 so I think she's getting to the age where she needs something more challenging

Attended the first farmers market held in the park this year. Interesting collection of goods sold . As each week goes by I'm sure the variety of goods sold will expand. I encourage my fellow townies to swing by and give it a look see.

One of the best playgrounds I've ever seen, divided into 2 sections for older & younger kids. Beautifully maintained playing fields. They have picnic tables & port-a-potties, though I didn't use them.

Great park for kids and nice area for adults to walk

I’ve only been once so far with my toddlers, but they LOVED the playground here! Tons of options for different age ranges in terms of playground equipment, and very busy with kids from all different ages as well, from young babies to older teens/young adults.

This is a lovely park, lots of room to run around & play. Features play areas designated by age appropriateness, slides, swing sets, sand box, see saw etc. Picnic tables and benches available, Porta potty for the little ones. My kids love coming to this park. No fault of the park, but does seem to be a drop of place for pre-teens/teenagers who lay all over the slides & swings taking selfies and fighting and swearing. Wish their parents could find a new hang out spot, as this is so clearly a park for little kids. The place is nice and clean. Has a baseball field & tennis courts as well. I highly recommend!

One of our favorite parks, so many different activities for all age groups. Huge and open, shaded and sunny areas. Picnic benches and regular benches. Always clean, and well- maintained. A true treasure in Wallingford.

Its a great place for your kids to play. And when its hot there is a tent that u can go under. It involves many slides and there is a sand pit,swings for babys and above, baseball fields, picnic tables, tennis cort, purfict for practicing soccer and open 24 hours so go when ever u want. So over all its really fun

This park has been a Mecca for Wallingford residents for as long as I can remember and since they replaced the wooden playground with some out of this world crazy plastic and steel playground it has done itself proud. A nice day with your kids at the park never hurts????

Great park to have family outing, my kid were so happy. The environment is good and it's near to my aunt house.

Doolittle park is a nice little park to take your kids too.
