Antonio's Rt. 5

When we arrived at Antonio’s for the first time, we were surprised to see that they referred to themselves as the Home of the Panini and wanted to see what it was all about. Though it’s not your typical pressed panini, Antonio’s definitely knows what they’re doing. Their freshly baked focaccia bread was some of the best I’ve ever had, and I couldn’t believe that for such a large sandwich, it was priced under $10! If I worked around here, I’d probably come get their paninis for lunch everyday. The cheese pizza was good, and we really enjoyed the burrata, prosciutto, and pesto appetizer that we had. The sauce on the spaghetti and meatballs was a bit watery, though I did like the meatballs. Every pasta dish comes with a soup or salad, so I chose the pasta fagioli. I was expecting a cup of soup, but the size of the bowl was literally bigger than my head! It was some fantastic pasta fagioli too. Though it’s super casual, Antonio’s really impressed us with their great food, generous portions, and affordable prices.

Stop in here all the time. Very consistent with food quality, and quality is good. Just stopped in for a pizza and a salad. Pizza was good, as usual. The sauce was fresh and delicious, good cheese quality and the dough was properly cooked, properly chewy yet soft. And the service was very friendly

Love this place. It's one of our go-to places when we don't feel like trying something new, and it never fails. Prices are very fair for what you get and the food is great. I've never had a terrible meal and I've have plenty that were excellent. I've tried most of the paninis. My favorite is the broccoli Rabe. The pesto mayo is good too. The entrees are mostly around $20 and you get a big hearty soup with it and side of pasta. Great value in my opinion. They always have special dishes too. Small seat in area but they mostly do take out I presume. Even still, we dine in quite a bit and I like the "family" vibe you get being there. The staff has always been good to us and accommodating. The cooks always wave goodbye as you leave too. It's the little things.

Food is always extremely good, with huge portions. Their staff is absolutely wonderful! They go above and beyond for their customers. Can't say enough good things about them! I drive all the way from Branford just for their food.

Antonio's was very good! Went for lunch...we all had soup...get this! $3.95. Think you're getting a little cup? NOPE! You get a bowl and it is huge!
Penne Carbonara was delicious, also a large portion, shared between 2 people and still, some came home!
Chicken Francais was plentiful and came with pasta. Again, large portion and enough to take home for another meal!
Bruschetta Appetizer came with 6 thick cut slices of the most wonderful italian bread topped with a perfect blend of tomatoes, garlic, vinegar and whatever else they put in there! Took 1/2 of that home!
Overall, very good food, nice atmosphere and friendly, attentive service and the price was most reasonable!!

Great place to grab lunch any day or a dinner with the family. Ideal for pick up an dinning area get crowded at dinner time especially on the weekends be that's the sign of a good place.

We arrived close to closing but they still let us order! Amazing huge grilled chicken salad!!

I have been here three times so far and I will definitely be coming back I had pizza twice and a cold cut combo sub absolutely delicious food and service that you can't get anywhere else. I felt like I was dealing with my family at home I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. For many years our church has been ordering take out trays of food catered as well thank you so much for everything what you do very much appreciated.

Kicking myself for not having Antonios sooner 😩, the first time i tried them i got their sammy sub with bacon and it was incredible, ordered with the whole fam recently and we got three massive sandwiches that were incredible in quality and ingredients and so affordable! Their salads were so fresh and good , salads are a big deal to me lol. Needless to say i will unfortunately be spending ALOT more time and money at Antonios 🙂🙃🙂😀

Great place. Service was right on and food is always good. I had the Bruschetta chicken on a panini. Took home half it as so big!

Went for a Birthday dinner at Antonio's in North Haven, a marvelous meal we all had.

Excellent! I have used Antonio’s multiple times for large catering events. Most recently my Son’s Grad party (50-60 ppl). Kristjan and the team take the worry off my hands. I tell him how many I’m expecting and he always nails the right amount of food! The staff is courteous and truly one of my favorite go-to’s in town! Bravo !

My coworkers & I were in town for work & decided to stop here. I got the grilled chicken pesto panini & I’m unashamed to say I got it multiple times in the several days I was in town. The portion sizes are very generous (great for leftovers) & the staff was friendly & helpful. I’ll definitely stop by again if I’m back in town & will recommend to my coworkers as well

My friend and I went. My 2nd time, her first. Very nice people there and very good food. The portions are extremely generous and with all the price hikes it's refreshing to get your money's worth. They also do catering. The wraps are huge and so are the sandwiches. I even bought a gift certificate because I know that the people who receive it will be very pleased. Needed a doggie bag!

My daughter was working in No Haven and got a panini for lunch. She said it was amazing.

Some time later, we live in Connecticut, but not North Haven, she and husband decided to give Antonio’s a try for pizza, because the panini was so special.

She told me that I MUST get pizza there, because it’s the best pizza she’s ever had.
So, last night we did, and she is right: it is.

This pizza has it all- beautiful crust rustica, delicious sauce, the perfect mozzarella, cooked well done, but not burned.
We also ordered a salad and it looked great, but I was in it for the pizza.

This morning, eaten cold, it was divine still.

I’ll be driving, from now on, to North Haven for pizza.

This, my friends, is perfection.
