Dr. Viola is the genius behind it all…from the modern designed waiting rooms, to the very informative website. She is meticulous about her work, and it shows; from the functionality of the offices, being a podiatrist, and surgeon. Dr. Nguyen is a machine! He performs a lot of surgeries monthly, and sees wound care, and podiatry patients. He’s such a great surgeon, he’s operated on professional athletes! This practice is cutting edge! They use screws for surgery made from a cadaver when appropriate! This practice opened, and thrived in March 2020, during the start of the pandemic…they’re young standouts in the COUNTRY! These doctors bounce ideas off of each other, and truly bring a fresh approach to the podiatry field…call them today for an appointment/consultation!

Always friendy and knowledgeable and listens to your problems and gives you choice of what to do to solve your foot issue if there is another choice and takes the time to listen to you.
The office is relaxed environment and the people that work there are friendly.

Last year I had sent an email over the weekend regarding foot pain I was experiencing. One of the office personnel emailed me back right away and set up an appointment. I cannot thank Dr. Nguyen enough for everything he has done for me to get me back on my feet again! He was super thorough and explained everything about the procedure from start to finish! His work is impressive as you cannot even see the scars! The office staff and techs are so friendly and make you feel right a home! I highly recommend this practice!

Had an issue with one of my toes; a very painful callus. Dr. Nguyen did a thorough exam and recommended an insert to separate two of my toes. In two weeks my pain was gone and I’m now back to normal with no issues. I highly recommend this place, doctor and staff are professional and caring.

My experience with Dr Nguyen has been exceptional! From first visit when he explained my options, surgery thur post op visits he has been gentle, kind, and professional as well as his office staff. Was always unsure about getting surgery on my bunion/hammertoe lived with it this long why bother!! Saw Ad on Tv with Dr Nguyen and the new updated procedures they had So I made an appointment and So Happy that I did From consult to surgery to post op appointments one of the best experiences I have had! Dr Nguyen is the best! Bunion surgery I was dreading for years was a success with very manageable discomfort/pain. Currently treating an ankle tendonitis then ready to get the 2nd one done!

I cannot recommend Vale Foot & Ankle Surgery enough. On top of having an amazing staff, Dr. Viola was able to provide me with top notch treatment. Having been unsatisfied with the multiple podiatrists I had gone to before her (at other practices), I am happy to say that she is at the top of the game when it comes to both bedside manner and technical skill. In fact, it was worth transferring with her to her new practice, and taking 40 minute drive it took me to get to her office. If you value Dr.s who are friendly, skilled, and are great communicators, this is the place for you!!!

The Dr spent a lot of time explaining my condition and gave me my conservative options before surgical options because I explained everything going on in my life. She was very compassionate and listened to me. I had a great experience. I prayed for a honest opinion and I feel that I got one.

Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Viola are the most thorough, intelligent, and compassionate doctors I have ever been to! You can tell they care about their profession and strive for excellent results as they spend the necessary amount of time with each person. I have gotten multiple opinions for my condition and felt most comfortable after seeing the doctors at Connecticut Foot & Ankle Specialist. It’s so refreshing to finally have someone I can trust as I undergo my advanced surgical procedure. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Chelsea Viola on July 9, 2020 to treat a painful overgrowth of skin on my big toe. It is rare to find a wholesome doctor at a time in which much of life is fast-paced and the patient-provider interaction is reduced to a few short minutes. During this intake appointment, Dr. Viola spent a lengthy time explaining my condition and the necessary treatment. I was amazed that in a few weeks time, I was able to once again walk without pain after months of only being able to walk on the side of my foot.

Since then, Dr. Viola has been assisting me with getting orthotics to ameliorate the inherent laxity of my toes as a way of reducing future recurrences of skin overgrowth. Though in the context of podiatry my issue was minimal in comparison to other patients with much more serious ailments, such as one suffering from a deformity or trauma, she treated me with the utmost compassion and attentiveness. If ever you are in need of a podiatrist, I cannot recommend a better one than Dr. Viola due to the wholehearted and holistic manner in which she cares for the health of her patients.
