Rossitto's Ristorante

We had a late dinner here during our road trip. We ordered the meat lasagna (apparently well known for them) and the scallop risotto (special of the day). Both dishes were REALLY good. They were very flavorful and cooked just right. Their bread was really good as well. We finished everything. Service was awesome. Their listed closing time is 9:00pm. We left at 9:30 and there were still a few local customers there.

Chef Rossito hosted a gathering for my daughters christening. I was extremely happy with the service. The food was amazing. I had the salmon and it was the best I’ve ever had. Everyone from the gathering was very happy with both the food and the service. This place is really a hidden gem! Thank you Chef for hosting my gathering.

Hi end in price there was 3 and a 7 year old girl the mother and duather shere same food I had pasta and 3 apterize 1 ice cream call tufvfood the bill was 159 dollars not with tip which I gave 20 percent wich the bill came to 190.00 I think that was a log of money but didn't say anything pay bill and left piss 2 drinks

Walking in here the staff were amazing and so friendly. The crab cakes, calamari and risotto were my favorite. Also got the chicken parm. Cute date night.

From the relaxed and cozy atmosphere to the attentiveness of the staff and quality of the dishes, this is a lovely little restaurant. The portions are hearty but if you are a light eater like myself, I recommend the fig and prosciutto flat bread. The sweetness of the fig spread and salty prosciutto was delicious. I had room for dessert and ordered a slice of pistachio cake. It was not overly sweet and incredibly light. The chef even dropped by to ask us if we enjoyed our meal. If you are in the mood for Italian cuisine I highly recommend you try this restaurant for yourself.

Very quaint place. The food, service and atmosphere are excellent. The ribbon eggplant appetizer is excellent. Always consistent with the food here.

If you are looking for authentic Southern Italian cuisine with a home atmosphere, great service, delicious food, try Rossitto's in Branford CT. From the appetizers to the desserts we were pleased. The 4 of us each had a different entree and all were 5 star meals. The lasagna is award winning. Reservations are a must because in Italian fashion, when you sit down you are not rushed out of your seat.

Nestled away from North Main Street is this hidden gem of Italian food. Their marinara sauce is delicious and their portions are just right. It can be a little noisy but it's a good dinner spot for the area ( even if it may take a minute to find parking don't let that deter you.)

I was very pleased with my experience here, kindly greeted and seated upon entering and was served a delicious meal. They offered a unique and refreshing drink menu, and the chef even came around to ask how our experience was. Would definitely return if in the area

Both dine-in and take out experiences have been outstanding. We have used Rossitto's take out for several family events and the food is ALWAYS a crowd pleaser. We have had several dinners there also and the food and service have always been excellent. Date night dinner at the bar is GREAT!

My second visit here. This time I tried the lasagna. It was one of the best I ever tasted. Surpassed only by my first visits tender, delicious veal Parm.
This chef knows how to cook Italian.

Hidden Gem! Honestly, their menu can be quite limited until you call for your takeout or go in. Their specials they rotate are put of this world amazing! We've been in 4 or 5 times, and done takeout about the same amount. I have had a different meal each time, and no complaints. Place is cute, food is amazing, and staff is very attentive. Someone always checks on you or is willing to help, even if it isn't your server or its the hostess. Always recommend!

Everyone was super helpful and friendly. They had a nice patio that we were able to enjoy with our dog. The Espresso Martini was very tasty and the Lasagna was delicious. I couldn't get enough of the red sauce.

They tru live up to the rating, on being rank 25 best Lasagna in the nation, I grew up in NYC, and been living in the Northeast for over 35 years, I visited too many places and restaurants to be able to keep track of. ROSSITTO'S has the best Lasagna I ever had. Until I come across a place who makes it better they are number one in my list. But I am definitely trying their Seafood pasta since Seafood is my favorite dish.

We were looking for outdoor seating after leaving a Thimble Island Cruise and called on our way. The owner/chef picked up and was very friendly and was happy to serve us a good half hour before opening. The staff was very accommodating and the food was amazing! Not only was it absolutely delicious but it was beautifully plated. We were pleasantly surprised as we were just looking for a quick meal before heading home. Thank you to chef Lou, who came out to check on us to make sure everything was good. It’s obvious he cares about his business and has loyal customers who were greeted by name as they walked in. We will definitely be back to try more of the scrumptious food. Maryann was our lovely, attentive server and we will tell everyone we know about this place!

We stopped by on accident and what a fantastic experience! Short ribs were amazing! Calamari was nice and fresh tasting. Our waitress was excellent and made us feel right at home. Chef stopped by multiple times to check on our food. Can't wait to come back when I'm in the area!
