Doma On Main

Been here a couple times & the food is absolutely AMAZING! Staff is super friendly & attentive, restaurant is clean & has a great set up! I can't recommend a certain dish because last time going there for an event everything we had was delicious the pasta was cooked perfectly, the bread was warm & fluffy & the pizza was like heaven lol I wish we lived closer to come here all the time!!

What a fabulous place, came across it via recommendation from a friend. Small but quaint place with an old school itlaian feel. Love the music. Food is delicious. Service is great. I've been there multiple times already and will be goin back again.

This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. We went on a Saturday and it was very busy - reservations are recommended on the weekend. Parking can be challenging. Bigger than it looks and the decor is very nice and upscale, though there are still TVs with games on and a lot of people ordered pizza, so a nice mix of casual as well. For a starter, the fried calamari was large, with two sauces, crispy and very good. I ordered zuppa di pesce fra diavolo from the specials, and it was flavorful but not overly hot, with generous portions of shrimp, clams, calamari, and scallops over linguini. The chicken piccata was just right as well, and they had a nice cocktail menu with some unique drinks. Forgot to take photos, so thumbs down to me, but thumbs up to Doma.

Doma’s in Branford is a magnificent place! The food, service,and atmosphere are absolutely incredible! When you’re there it feels so cozy and comfortable and as if everyone knows you so it’s like you’re visiting Family! There’s no other place around like it so check it out and say hello to Uncle Phil if you can! 🥰

Excellent food, family ran business. Would recommend highly. Think of it as Italian food your grandparents made for you growing up.

Nice menu. Wish i had the pasta. Next time. Had the eggplant pizza. Good, but could have used a bit more flavor. My friend loved her dish - garlic clams with risotto. Excellent staff, small place so make a rez.

Pizza was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Fresca, and it was unbelievable. If you like thin crust, go here! Also, staff was so nice. Great atmosphere for dinner and drinks! Definitely going back!!

I never tried the carbonara sauce before. It was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and service was outstanding. Very enjoyable meal. With top notch service highly recommend

In the 83 years on earth, having greatly enjoyed Pepe's Pizza, now that I have discovered Doma's supreme creations extraordinaire, where the crust is super delicately crusty, the toppings are equally prepared to the point of addiction! Expensive, but ever worth full value of satisfaction

Love this place! It's my new favorite. Great food, great drinks and great service! Really nice convivial atmosphere. I'd skip the pizza next time, but I'm looking forward to checking out lunch, brunch and late night ASAP!
Meanwhile, order yourself a kick-a$$ Negroni - outstanding! Anthony Bourdain would approve.

Fantastic food and service - everyone is so friendly, with a very fun, Italian-vibe. Feels like everyone that walks through the doors is greeted by those they know already there. The food and service the first time my fiancée and I went was phenomenal, and the pizza is authentically thin crust with some unique options for toppings. More recently the pizza we ordered for take out was just slightly cooler, and we are about 5 minutes away from the restaurant and ate it immediately when we got back. Take that as you will, but the dine in experience was one of the best we ever had. Even the ambiance with the music and art screams Italian. You have to at least try this place among the other Italian places nearby, and I would definitely rate it at the top of the list. We look forward to going back when the pandemic numbers are better, and we have heard (though not yet experienced) that brunch is equally as great. Mangia! And enjoy!

Great things to come from this new spot!

First time dining here and it was excellent. The clams with chorizo appetizer was spectacular. Dinner was amazing and the risotto and scallops was perfect. Our server, Alexa, was extremely attentive.

Started with the spicy honey pepperoni pizza as an appetizer and it was SO good! It was personalized size so great for sharing or as a main. Then I had the Bucatini Carbonara as my main and could taste the freshness in every bite! The atmosphere is cozy and both times I've been were crowded so reservations are a good idea.

Unbelievable pizza, great service, just a little too loud in the bar area but no drama! Absolute gem of a place!

By far the best restaurant in Connecticut owned and operated by true professionals who know how to eat. The staff is not only cordial and professional but on point. Jillian the bar tender not only is she beautiful but she can pour an awesome drink try an espresso martini. The chef Edgar is off the hook and you will not have a better pizza in the world trust me

Friendly staff and good food. Place is very clean and has a large room in the back for seating. Bread and olive oil besides the food where excellent. Will be back again
