I unfortunately had to put my dog Broccoli down, he was old and had no quality of life anymore. The website made it extremely easy for me to make an appointment, which is great because it's never easy to make that kind of appointment. I was able to schedule an appointment only a few days out, which is great because it usually takes weeks to get in. The staff member who called me to confirm the details of my appointment was so kind and understanding. When we arrived at the vet, everyone was so kind to us as we brought our old man in. The vet and the assistant that helped us were very gentle and compassionate while they were examining Mr. Broccoli and when the time came to say goodbye, they made sure he was comfortable and explained the whole process as they proceeded. They gave us as much time as we needed with him to say goodbye, and the desk staff let me take a few pens on the way out. We paid to have his ashes and were told they would be back in a week. The next day I got a call that he was already back at the vet and ready to pick up. The staff at the desk made it very easy to pick him up and I was VERY pleasantly surprised by everything that was included with his cremation. They gave us a paw impression as well as 4 cards with his paw print on them. The box and bag his ashes are held in are beautifully engraved and embroidered. Losing a pet is so hard but Oxford Vet Hospital made the process so easy. I can't thank them enough.

I moved to oxford about 2 years ago & had still been bringing my dogs to New milford every time they needed to see a vet. I am so happy i made the change. The receptionists are very nice & helpful. They were able to squeeze me in very quickly. Dr Marc & his vet tech were wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful staff. Pays great attention to my dog. Always able to spread very useful knowledge about taking care of my dog. The level of care that goes into each animal is extremely comforting to me.

I'm grateful my husband and I chose this office to care for our dog. Alongside wonderful treatment, everyone there always shows true compassion toward their patients/owners. They are willing to work around financial hardship, as well.

When we had to make the hardest decision to put our dog to rest, Dr. Kim and the team went beyond the extra mile to make it easier for us. I actually just received a sympathy card from the office, which prompted me to post this review. Literally, the entire office came around us that day with hugs and offers to do anything in their power to help.

Thank you, everyone. Thank you, especially, Dr. Kim. We'll never forget your kindness.

Vets, techs, reception, everyone..all are so nice. Vet was more thorough than past vets I’ve been to. I brought my sweet cat in when he was very sick and they were honest with me..they didn’t try to get me to spend a bunch of money on testing and medicines that likely wouldn’t work long trrm. But they gave me meds to make him comfortable, they even called an at-home euthanasia service for me to see if they could get to me ASAP. I had gone to Ansonia vet hospital (Westfield) two days earlier and they weren’t helpful. Since my experience here, this is my go-to vet now! Both dr Kim and dr mark are awesome.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while and today really prompt me to do it… we rescued two southern belle puppies a few months ago. From our first visit, through getting all the vaccines, to getting spayed this team has been fabulous. When you call them they truly want you to be setup for success providing the best experience to the doctors, being so compassionate and caring for our pups. You aren’t another number or penny in the bucket, they really want the best and don’t jerk you around. Our girls got spayed last week and one of them, their first layer stitches popped on a small section, so called and Dr.Mark got her in within minutes to check her out, treated her, came out to personally go over what’s going on and we were on our way. Can’t thank this team enough for just being so kind, caring and compassionate for what they do on a daily basis!

I have been using Dr. Marc since maybe 2005 and he has taken fantastic care of my animals, including my now 15-year-old lab. Highly recommended.

OVH had been my family's vet for many years. They have always been great. Their doctors and staff are kind and caring. Always present options and do not pressure or upsell.

Brought my cat who was born with no tail and occasionally gets uti infections due to the tails functions in the passing yeah. (I bath her and trim her backside to help keep her clean and give her uti purina one) she might be part bob cat I got her in Florida from a lady in the middle on nowhere.

Anyways I usually take her to value services and needed to find somewhere as she has habits when she has a uti...

The dfeont desk girls were awesome and the 2 guy vets I went in the room with to help, altho she took a good chunk out of my finger, we got my lil one the amoxaclav she needs for a good price (since most vets want to charge me $500 plus to see her) they were more worried about the gash in my finger and me getting cleaned up as well once my good but crazy cat was diagnosed with my history and experince with her taken into consideration .

This is the kind of vet you look for and then never go anywhere else. 5 stars they are awesome.

They are quick and attentive. They know what they're doing and they make you feel welcome. I was concerned about bringing my senior dog in for a surgery but they were super helpful explaining the whole process and what to expect.

Our dog Haley doesn't mind going here bc to her it's not a vet visit, it's a place where she gets adored. Everyone who works here is super friendly and takes very good care of the pets they see.

I had a great experience here! Dr. Reynolds and his staff were incredibly friendly and very kind to my pups. They got me in on very short notice before the long weekend when my dog got a UTI. I would highly recommend this hospital to others!

Drs Mark and Kim are always so compassionate and wonderful with my little 3 1/2lb Maltese. The entire staff is polite and knowledgeable. Whether it be leaving us medicine on a Saturday when they are closed for pickup or calling to see how our little guy is doing the Drs make you feel like part of the family. It is so reassuring knowing that my questions will always be answered either in person or on the phone.
I also love the fact that Dr Kim spaced out our little Maltese's shots so he didn't get them all at the same time. Her caring meant so much.
I just can't say enough how happy I have been with Oxford Veterinary Hospital!

Overall we had a wonderful first experience and the staff were comfortable handling my overstimulated German Shepherd who wanted absolutely no part being handled for his vaccinations. The vet is very easy going and friendly and she worked quickly despite my unruly pup consistently voicing his displeasure at having his ears inspected. The waiting room in itself is a little on the small side, so we opted to wait outside before going in. There was another dog in there already that had a bad case of the itchies and the owner was nice enough to warn us. All-in-all, the staff is very patient and understanding and did their best to accommodate a difficult dog. We discussed neutering during our visit and although most vets are very adamant about altering dogs ASAP- she agreed with me in regards to having him altered after he has reached maturity to avoid long term complications. I felt very comfortable talking to her about a number of things. Including being invited to bring the pup to visit them on occasion for a positive experience and desensitize him towards further vet visits. I was also advised that there is now a Lyme vaccination with a guarantee from the manufacturer. We are opting for this vaccination during our next visit as we found out he has to be on doxycycline for 30 days for tick borne illness during this visit (despite rocking a ceresto collar, go figure). My in-laws have been going to this office for nearly 30 years and recommended these folks to me. Very happy to have established a relationship the Oxford veterinary hospital, highly recommend them!
