Gaetano's Tavern on Main

A very pleasant experience I, my wife and Eddie( dog) had at Gaetano's Tavern. It was a beautiful afternoon with outdoor dining
The service and food combined with the servers were superb. I am a conosier of whole belly clams and I have to say these were the BEST I've had in a long time. Sweet small and very tender not overcooked and the slaw was great. French fries were also golden fried and very tasty. If you love whole belly clams you will LOVE THESE. Try them. You'll love them!

Wonderful spot with delicious cuisine and amazing staff! Our waitress Jill was the best - knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. The drinks were incredible - especially the espresso martini! It was an amazing, memorable Valentines Day experience. Can’t wait to come back!

I had my mother's memorial at Gaetano's yesterday.. Let me just tell you the food was amazing and the staff was just as good. We had the back banquet room. It was beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend Gaetano's for any gathering or just an awesome restaurant in general. Special thank you to our hostess, Christine. Age really was so accommodating. THANK YOU GAETANO'S!

Do yourself a favor. Your tastebuds will Thank You. By far the BEST Restaurant you could visit in the area. Trust me You will appreciate the kindness and assistance of the staff, the utensils are CLEAN ( very important!) the atmosphere is excellent. The restaurant is Clean and aesthetically, appealing. Seating is comfortable. The Chef will accommodate your desired adjustments in a meal if needed. The owner/ Manager (Debbie) is on top of her game. You won’t be disappointed in anything you order. From appetizers to salads to entrees to specials to dessert from beginning to end of your meal you will be saying over and over again how good it is !!!! And you can’t wait to come back. I grew up in Connecticut but currently reside in Florida. This restaurant is on my list to visit Everytime I’m in town. Won’t miss it. I (we)will be there tomorrow evening to celebrate mine and my twin sisters Birthday. Can’t wait !!!

It was a hot day out, but their outdoor seating was in the shade so it was fine to eat outside.

Everyone from the hostess to the servers were very friendly and even offered to suggest some of their favorite foods.

Our server had water at the table before we could even ask, which was nice since it was blisteringly hot outside.

The food came out quickly with no issues, and was good. No complaints there at all.

Very good for a date night away from the kids.

Celebrated a birthday lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Food was tasty and well cooked. drinks were amazing and the service was great!

Sicilian Calamari, Buffalo chicken wrap, a bison burger with eggplant fries and a Cajun chicken flatbread sandwich. Can’t forget the drinks!

We had our Son’s Rehearsal dinner at Gaetano’s Tavern on Main in Wallingford. The reserved room was decorated lovely, the food was very good and the service was excellent. The waitress was always smiling & very helpful. Everything was just perfect. I highly recommend Gaetano’s Tavern on Main.

Awesome little tavern / restaurant in the heart of Wallingford! First time here and I enjoyed it! Food was very good and came out very quickly! Hidden gem! Enjoyed the bison burger, calamari,Buffalo chicken wrap , and Cajun chicken sandwich! Amazing food and drinks !

A regular for us.. great food at very fair prices. Love eating outside there. Try the pork chop picante if you like a bit of heat... not overwhelming but delish. (See pic) The staff there has alwUs been pleasant too. Oh and one other thing.. unlike alot of other restaurants these days...the prices are reasonable and portions very good!

Great restaurant! The owner is so kind and the food/service is amazing! They are always quick and very accommodating. Highly recommend it.

Great pub. Friendly service. My first experience with a steamed cheeseburger. So good I am already planning the two hour trip to have it again.

Extensive menu of different items, hard to choose from which item to try first,, excellent cocktails, very good service, nice atmosphere, large portions, great value,, delicious food. I want to go again and try more dishes. A gem!

Have eaten lunch here several times and always have a great experience. Excellent food, great staff and plenty of free parking.

Food was excellently prepared, and portions were generous. The service was friendly and efficient.

Went back over the weekend. Delicious again!!

Very beautiful with not a lot of people at one time, so you don't have to wait. That's not saying the food is bad it was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to!

Always great service and food. The outside seating from spring through the early fall has been great.

I recommend almost anything on the menu.
You get AA frequent flyer rewards when you dine there, if you have you charge card registered with AA dining.

Great place good atmosphere will return staff and bartender fantastic job
