Koi Sushi

We recently visited this "eat all you can sushi" restaurant in East Haven for Valentine’s. We’ve been here before but recently came back post pandemic. As always we had a pleasant experience. This restaurant had a great selection of sushi options, from classic rolls to more adventurous choices like octopus and squid. We particularly enjoyed the salmon and tuna sushi and sashimi, which were fresh and delicious.

The restaurant was not too crowded during our visit, however it is noticeable that there were only a few staff. We had a longer wait as compared to our previous visits when the service was fast but no complaints here. The sushi makers took their time to prepare us a wonderful freshly made sushi. Also, the servers made sure our hot green tea cup is never empty! This is so very welcome on a cold night like the night we came.

The price was reasonable, but it did go up like everything else. It was $29.99 per person at the time of this writing.

The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, making it a great place to go with friends or family. They have special dining rooms you can reserve if you’re planning a private gathering.

Pro tip: don’t forget to ask for a matcha green tea ice cream or a red bean ice cream for dessert! They are a perfect end to your wonderful meal and they don’t charge extra for this. It’s included if you paid for eat all you can.

Overall, we recommend this "eat all you can sushi" restaurant to anyone looking for a fun and satisfying sushi experience. The variety and quality of the sushi make it a great value for the price, and the casual atmosphere is perfect for a laid-back evening out.

This is the place for sushi lovers. $25.95 all you can eat sushi, plus a full menu of other appetizers and entrees you can order that is cooked to order and served at your table very well plated. Service was great as well. Will return when I'm in East Haven!

The food is always very good. The service can be a little on the slow side, but you have to remember it's made to order all you can eat. Also, they have all you can drink sake Friday through Sunday.

Food and service were great! They had a wide variety of options on the all you can eat menu. The sushi rolls were all fresh, and they had katsu, noodle, and terryaki options available. Unlike some of the reviews, we received all the items we ordered. The waitress was nice and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. It is a great deal, more people should give it a try! We will definitely go bacj.

This was my go-to spot while living in East Haven. Great appetizers, fresh sashimi, and nice variety with the rolls. Only downside is they tend to forget stuff when you order off the all you can eat menu but it's really not that big a deal

Best Avocado Rolls & chicken Katsu in town. Love the mushroom soup too it’s soul curing, especially if your sick. Great place to eat in with a big group or party for all you can eat sushi and apps.

What an amazing place! We stopped in for lunch because we were in the mood for sushi, and what an awesome surprise! $14.99 gets you all you can eat soup, japanese appetizers, and made to order sushi and rolls at lunch time. I tried the mushroom soup which was fantastic. All sushi and rolls tasted very fresh. Presentation was gorgeous. We ordered apps last, and everything was fried perfectly, not overcooked. Will be back!!

For 25$ best deal in town! Ordered about 15 rolls this is by far the cheapest, best quality, and tastiest sushi restaurant in the state in my opinion. Other places charge you 8$ a roll sometimes but not here you can get as much sushi as you want and as many appetizers if you want. By far my go to Sushi spot 🍣!

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, clean and comfortable. The food was outstanding , the service was attentive, a bit of a language barrier but not an issue. I highly recommend sushi lovers go there, great food great price , you will leave satisfied and stuffed. I’ll be back again

We ordered takeout online from Koi tonight for the first time. The food was ready in less than 20 minutes and it was amazing. We especially loved the Sweet Potato roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll.

Koi has become my favorite sushi place, the staff and quality are great and definitely worth the price. What more can you ask for? Out of the 3 times I have been there not once have we had an issue with anything which is more than I can say about other local sushi places.

Clean,friendly staff although they don't speak much. Good selection of sushi 🍣 Everything is super fresh. You won't be disappointed if you go there.

The all you can eat includes many izakaya Japanese bar items that are really good. The squid is great. Also kid friendly. I have been here many times and continue to return.

Great all you can eat sit down restaurant. It's is not a buffet which is great cause buffets aren't good lol. But this place has great sushi and other dinner all you can eat options

This sushi was fantastic! It's unlimited all you can eat for $20 and it was platters of food. Not only is it unlimited, everything was absolutely delicious.
