Polson / Flathead Lake KOA Holiday

This KAO is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in that area. Everything about this campground is just about perfect.

Stopped here for a brief rest on our journey north. Had no idea this place was so beautiful. The KOA is sitting on a hill overlooking Flathead Lake. The views are incredible. It was Smokey when we got there so my pics can’t do it justice, but you will get the idea. The sites were roomy, facilities very clean, staff wonderful, and the town had everything a good traveling tourist needed! We have now marked this KOA as a vacation destination, not just a stop over! Highly recommend you visit. Bring your boat!

I don’t think it is possible to say enough kind words about the KOA in Polson Montana. Our experience with them from the beginning was stellar. The location is perfect and the grounds are immaculate. The thing that stands out the most though is the staff. We traveled to Montana for a vacation with a family of five and our travel trailer. On the first day of our trip, we were coming home from glacier national park and hit a deer. While our car was not totaled, we were without a tow vehicle to move our TV or even get home. The staff made sure that we did not stress at all about where we would stay. They were kind to my kids and entertained them. Matt, the maintenance king, gave my husband a ride to and from the tow yard multiple times. They treated us like family and I will be forever grateful for their love and kindness. During a time that we were so stressed about how to get our RV and family home 8 hours away, I felt cool and calm knowing that the staff at this KOA was there to help. Thank you Beth, Matt and everyone at this resort for taking care of my family. We love you all!!

One of the most beautiful KOAs we have ever stayed at. We stayed here in early June 2023 as we moved from Alaska with our five kids.

Site 18 has the best view in the campground, and open view of the lake. Site 18 is also perfect if you have kids, directly across from the playground. Worth the money and peace of mind.

We have an RV and took advantage of the winter special. We have been to Polson once before, but this was by far the best. It is a beautiful CG; clean, well maintained and away from traffic so very quiet. The staff are polite, helpful, friendly and efficient.

Camped here in our pop-up tent camper for a couple nights and loved this campsite. The pool was fun, the showers and bathroom at the community center where clean and super convenient. We also loved having a fire pit. We hope to return in the future.

Beautiful views of flathead lake from our campsite.Stamped patio,bbq rocking chairs. Close to polson, drive around lake is really nice. Kalispell had lots of stores and places to eat including Costco.

Plan to stay at this KOA. We enjoyed riding our E-bikes to Polson... just down the road and across the bridge. Super clean restrooms, laundry facility and gift shop. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is our favorite KOA. We stay every year when we visit family and the staff/facility never disappoints. The views are stunning, the spaces are always clean and well kept, and the gift shop always has cool souvenirs to pick up.

We camped in our fifth wheel for a week here. Everyone was great to work with. I mainly worked with Larry, and we highly recommend! He was great to work with and went out of his way to ensure our group was in close proximity of each other despite us booking way later than we should have! He even waved at our 2 year old 42 times while we were here, since she thinks she needs to wave every time she sees people.
We had a site with a deck, I didn't know if we would like having it, but we loved it! Very well kept sites my daughter was running around barefoot without worries. Beautiful view of the mountains and close to attractions in town.

Besides having fantastic views the hosts are amazing! & very helpful. We had an issue with our water freezing and they came and helped out. We had packages delivered and they printed some paperwork we needed off our tablet. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great 5 days here! On a steep hill but, great view of the Mission Mountains and Flathead! Hot tub, pool, and covered deck were great places to relax! People were friendly and staff was awesome! I will return!!!

This is a beautiful KOA! We stayed in one of the cabins and it was nice. Beds more comfortable than I expected. Small refrigerator was so great to have. Great store/office also. The only thing is they could use more bathrooms around the lot.

Great spot for campers RVers or folks looking for a little cabin while they're in the polson area. The facilities are very clean. They have showers, toilets, areas for sitting, and a playground. There's a covered patio and they seem to have activities on the weekends like breakfast, wine tastings, and things like that. There's a small store to pick up things you forgot and also to grab a small bite to eat and some drinks. Amazing location!

Awesome KOA! Our second trip here in 3 years. The KOA's front lawn was like a front row seat to Polson's 4th of July fireworks celebration.

Beautiful location! Awesome staff! We loved the deluxe cabin there. It appears to be a newer model with everything you could want while enjoying your stay. It also offered a wonderful view of the lake. Very well kept camp ground.

This KOA was definitely one of the nicest ones I have been to. The views of the lake and mountains were spectacular. Yes, there is a small plane airport next door but you don t really notice. The place is also super clean and friendly. We will be back again. Oh and the general store has the BEST items to buy.

I’ve never encountered such sweet camp hosts. Wish there were more hosts like these! My husband and I were traveling through and stopped by for the night, they made sure we had everything we needed. Overall very well taken care of property. Highly recommend staying here!:)

What a wonderful location! The grounds are very well kept, the staff is courteous and helpful, and the views are simple spectacular! If you are looking for a place to camp - this is the place! Be aware that if you plan to bike in to Polson, you will need to cross US Hwy 93 twice, which can be busy and tricky at times. Don't let that deter you from staying here, though - The campground is top shelf!
