Great little breakfast place! The Irish Benny was amazing and soooo much food! A fun little place with such great service! It’s tiny so don’t try to take a large group, but it’s perfect for 4 or less people wanting an extraordinary breakfat!

Love going here, it's like a home away from home! Doreen and everyone is so nice. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy. I got the cranberry curry chicken wrap with (crunchy) home fries and my boyfriend got a pancake with two eggs and bacon. I've been coming here since I was 18, I'm almost 30 now so you know a place is great when you keep going back! 10/10 💚

On a trip to RI, we were looking for a breakfast spot that offered gluten free options a day outdoor seating, for our dog. We found Yolk Cafe, and it was delicious! Everyone was so nice, food is scratch made, had a lot of gluten free options (and homemade bread!). They even gave us a doggy Omelet!

We happened to be driving through town and stopped on our way to the beach. This was one of our most favorite experiences ever. We were greeted by Lindsay who took us out back to see Chloe the seagull, who hangs out with the crew each morning. Then we were treated to an amazing breakfast while getting to meet the whole staff. This was one of my favorite places ever. Delicious, delicious food. Thanks to Lindsay and the whole gang! If we're ever back that way we will definitely come again!

I went here with my family and let me tell you, it is the definition of FEEL GOOD PLACE! It is a cozy little cafe with 80’s or maybe earlier, handheld games spread throughout the cafe. While we waited we enjoyed playing many games I hadn’t played in years! While we were just chit chatting, all the sudden marshmallow come flying at us! My daughter thought it was so cool, we looked over to see one of the ladies shooting them from behind the counter. She came over a little while later to squirt ketchup and mustard at us, it was a prank but very funny! It was really just a string. To top it off, she brings a small claw machine so my daughter could play it and win some prizes. We found out that they feed squirrels that come up to the window, so we inquired and one of the women tried to get the squirrel to come so we could see it. Unfortunately it did not happen but honestly, just left feeling like my soul was warmed. The food was amazing! The coffee was hot and all the women working there were truly a delight! I wish I lived closer, I’d definitely become a regular.

Best part- aside from taking some photos for memories, no one was on their phone. Just really enjoying the cafe and experience.

I had the BBQ Pulled Pork Omlette, which was the best omlette that I have ever had. The homefries were fantastic, and the owners are very friendly people that want to keep customers happy. It was my first time to the Broken Yolk in 18 years, and I will definitely become a regular customer.

I stopped here for brunch because it had decent reviews. I was unprepared for the reality of this place - not only was the food good and freshly cooked, but eating at yolk is an experience not to be forgotten. I don't want to give any spoilers but be prepared to have a lot of fun!

Excellent hospitality!

This restaurant makes you feel at home- the staff are all excellent. The interior is quirky- full of fun signs, paintings, art- cute!

The chef is funny, caring and concerned that your food arrives just the way you want it. There are fun games all over the place for you to enjoy while you wait.

Lots of regulars and plenty of passersby like us- we were on our way to the Jack O Lantern spectacular in Providence. A fabulous stop!

Good old fashioned hospitality - something that is so rare nowadays. Enjoy a wonderful meal and great company.

The lady who runs this place is fantastic. She has an infectious positive energy and cooks fantastic food, she'll shoot you with a marshmallow gun while you wait. 10/10 definitely check this place out if you can!

Totally fun, homey and a quirky place. Expect to see flying bread! Very pleasant and even more delicious. Be patient though cuz it can take a little bit to get your food, but so worth the wait.

My family and I have been going to The Yolk for years. Probably the best corned beef hash you will ever have. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. Everyone who works there is in a good mood and really care if you are enjoying your dining experience. Doreen does an amazing job of cooking up amazing food in a timely fashion. The restaurant is a popular local spot and for good reason. You’ll come as a customer and leave as a friend.

THE BEST BREAKFAST I HAVE EVER HAD!

Went there for breakfast to bring back home. 4 of us arrived at 9:30 and got seats inside.

We had menus “thrown at us” (in a fun way) and coffee served promptly.

We ordered a pretty large order for 8 adults and enjoyed our coffee while waiting for food.

The staff came us and entrained us for a bit, probably one the funnest experiences you will have in you life if you get to Chit chat with the cook ( the woman in the picture)

The decor is all genuine for the 50-60s.
They serve coffee in unique mugs that they have stolen from other places.
The coffee was good and hot.

I ordered a stuffed croissant with salmon with a side of home fries.
It was one of the best things to hit my lips in my life!!!!

We were staying in solve down the street for a wedding so it’s a 2 hour drive for us to go back, but defiantly will go back.

There is also a patio outside that you can order from.

A few different reviews did say the wait was a bit long, which it was (45 min), but was worth every bite.

Should be a staple in the area for anyone going by. I wish I could give 6 starts.

Great find - delicious food (especially the blueberry pancakes, veggie burger snd homemade bread) and an awesome ambiance. Would definitely come back when I’m next in town!
