I found Scott by searching for recommendations in the East Lyme Community Forum on Facebook. I read so many glowing reviews and reached out to him online. Right off the bat, he was responsive and informative. We met with him in person shortly thereafter and learned a lot more about the home buying process. We’re a young family and this was our first house. After signing on with Scott, we began looking at houses. We already enjoyed working with him, but this is where we realized that we’d found an amazing realtor. He could tell us everything about each house, top to bottom…what to look for with the roof, which trees might need to come down, safety issues with the construction, outdated electrical work, where new windows were installed vs old windows, how old the furnace is, what the area is like, etc. He always remained neutral about each house, but made sure we had all the information we needed to decide if we wanted to bid. He walked us through each offer, answered all of our questions with so much patience, and worked quickly each time. I was never left wondering what was going on or what needed to happen next. His communication was always clear and timely. When an offer was finally accepted, Scott helped us through inspections and all of the details that came next. His contacts have been so helpful too. We found our lender through him (Keith Turner at Homestead), the company that did our septic work, and the people who service our furnace. I have no doubt that we’ll reach out to him for future recommendations too - he’s been an amazing resource! We could go on and on about how much we loved working with Scott, but the bottom line is…starting the process of searching for a home? Start with Scott Pellerin! You can’t go wrong.
