I love this place! Very friendly and helpful staff. They always have what I'm looking for. I have been a customer for over 20 years and wouldn't think of going anyplace else. They offer much better service then any of the big box stores.

I highly recommend Tru Value in East Lyme! They stand by the products they sell, and provide added value. I purchased a new Ariens snow blower from them, a year ago, never used it. I tested it out this year, and the drive mechanism was not working correctly. They fixed it right away, drove up, picked up the snowblower, brought it back to their shop, fixed it, and brought it back to my place; well before an incoming storm, even though the issue was Ariens, and not theirs!! They are there for the customer, for me, and I will always do business with them.

Small town feel with a better selection than a big box store. Very friendly and helpful staff and more Yeti gear than anyone around. Our go to for nuts and bolts too. Best screen repair place too. Fast service and great prices.

Awesome hardware store. Very clean and well organized with more than I've seen in any other True Value store.
Just had custom made quartz kitchen counters laser measured and installed in 2 weeks. Workers were professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Installed 36 sq.ft. counter in 1 hour. I highly recommend their service through the on site kitchen remodeling group.
And Truly a great Value as they were less expensive and better to talk with than the 'big box stores'.

Went there for the first time. It’s amazing. So clean and neat and has terrific inventory. One of the best selections of Yeti products around.

This place has that small town feel with a big town selection and supply. The staff are friendly from the moment you walk-in, and always ask if you need help finding anything. They are always available to help, yet at the same time they are not annoying about it. Since we moved here, I fell in love with this hardware store and would recommend my family and friends for all of there hardware needs. They always have what I need no matter how rare my requests can be at times. 5 stars in my book because of it's small town feel with great customer service!

Large well stocked hardware store conveniently located off of I95 near Costco. Good customer service with plenty of staff to help with customers questions.

Great True Value location. Friendly and knowledgable staff. If you are looking for Yeti products, this store has them. Also a great spot to recycle paint. You can drop off up to five gallons of latex paint per visit for free. I will shop here regularly.

Helpful staff, clean store, convenient location

Great Hardware business that's easier to shop than Low's or Home Depot and quick to get in and out fast with no lines or hassles with tons of people, and the money goes to the small Mom and Pop local business that's rare nowadays.

Had a hard time finding an indoor plant watering can, True Value had a good selection to choose from at this time if year. It was a Birthday present for a friend.
I also picked up a Yeti cup for me.

This is the place to go if you want the old fashioned hardware store experience of easily locating someone who can help you find what you are looking for. They offer higher end brands than the local box stores like Stihl, Carhartt, Yeti.

They always have what I need at a great price. Hugh and his staff are very knowledgeable and the service and advice is top notch. Highly recommended. Oh, and their selection of stainless bolts is unmatched.

Excellent customer service, and I received more help than expected. A lot of experience was provided to assist me with refurbishment of an old chainsaw.
