Oakdale Pizza

Ordered chicken club, Buffalo chicken grinder, Buffalo chicken quesadilla, and baked ziti for my family. Food was excellent, highly recommend. They have really good pizza too which we got previously. Service is top notch, they really care about their customers.

Wow just wow!! If you haven't tried them yet, you really should. We ordered on a Monday night 8 pm and 20 mins later got some delicious hot pizza. So hot, it burns your tongue and so fresh, it's like right out of the oven. It's a thicker crust pizza and the crust kinda reminds me of subway bread.
Delivery was quick, less time than estimated, Their prices are fair and they're friendly. Delivery driver wasn't sure which unit was mine and called right away and I met her outside. 5 stars great place. Will order from again without a doubt.

Good pizza, sauce is good, crust is soft so it doesn’t hurt my teeth when I bite it like what happens when I eat from other places. 9.9/10 very good! Very good! Very good!!! Did I say it was good? If I didn’t, it was good!

Update**** as of 9/23- we ordered 2 pizza and a dinner and one pizza was burnt, the other was soggy, and the dinner was cold. My husband ended up with a stomach ache after dinner and through the night. I used to love this please but its quality has gone down significantly. This was our first time trying it again after about 2.5-3 years and I was hoping for the pizza we remembered but instead we were disappointed. I hate updating this but I have to- that’s how bad it was…
Review from five yrs ago: Oakdale Pizza🍕 is definitely one of the best pizza places I have ever ordered from. I love going into the restaurant and feeling so welcomed, George and his wife (the owners) are always so friendly and sweet! The pizza is my favorite style and the prices are super reasonable, especially for a family on a budget. The buffalo wings are the bomb 🍗💣 everytime we order we get wings as well. I am not a fan of any buffalo wings, Oakdale's are the only ones I will eat because of how fantastic they are. If you're looking to try a new place, Oakdale Pizza is the best idea!!!

My kids and I love Oakdale, the owner and his wife are the friendliest people. George always remembers us and welcomes us like family. The pizza is a little different than typical new haven style. More of a doughy crust, it’s great with a bit of honey. The Greek salad was massive, we shared it between 5 people and had plenty to go around. The baklava is super yummy as well, I always grab some as we’re checking out.

This has been our go to pizza place for the past year or so, everything is very good and it's the only place I'll get sausage pizza from! Apparently it's under new ownership though, so will update once we try the new people's stuff 😬 🤞

They have a fantastic deep pan white clam pizza (these people know their stuff) and they came highly recommended from a good friend when I moved into town. I have to flip a coin when I want that specific pizza and they seem to come up "heads up" more often than not. Very nice employees and it seems to be a very small family owned place. I enjoy chatting with the staff when they're not really busy.

I just ordered 2 Pizza's from Oakdale Pizza. They are awesome! The Customer Service here is great and their pizza is definitely one of my favorites! You can tell they care about each pizza and each customer! Thank you for being a great restaurant and keeping as a small businesses because there just isn't that many restaurants that are as good as yours is any more! 👍😍😊🍕

We love George and his beautiful wife and family and their awesome Oakdale Pizza. We are regular customers and no other pizzeria compares. George and his wife make all the delicious food themselves. It’s got a warm family vibe and the employees are fantastic. Oakdale Pizza is certainly one of Wallingford’s gems!!!

Pizza is fast, delicious, and well-priced. The owner is one of the kindest gentlemen you meet in the industry. If you haven’t tried them yet you should!

I've been going to oakdale pizza since I was a kid, and I've never had a bad meal. The bbq chicken pizza is my absolute favorite, and there is just something special about the house dressing. The owner george is very kind , always throws you some free chips or 2 liter of soda with your order. They've always been my favorite place for pizza

My absolute favorite pizza place of all time! They have the best chef salad and BBQ chicken pizza, but all the pizza is equally delicious
