New York Family Pizza

It was our first time eating here since we wanted to try some NY-style pizza. We were very impressed, we ordered just a regular cheese pizza to try, since that was recommended to us by management- no regrets! I've never had a good authentic NY style pizza before and now I prefer this over anything else. The sauce is probably our favorite part and the crust was cooked perfectly. We didn't wait too long either (about 10 minutes). The staff were super friendly, too- we'll be back here soon!

Alright. I like pizza but I also like other menu items at a pizza place. What makes the meal great is a good sauce, fresh ingredients and the dough. I think this place has the trifecta in their arsenal.
Ordered for pickup. Sausage Parm Grinder, Calzone, Meatball appetizer (if I'm going out to judge ... You have to try the meatballs). And wings and mozzarella sticks.
The Grinder and Calzone hands down was really good. The Calzone was cooked perfectly and not too doughy. The sausage Parm had sliced sausage made it easy to eat and every bite had sausage. Mean balls and sauce were pretty good. Wings more like a 3., Cooked well but really saucy, not my favorite.. mozzarella stix were alright. Nothing out of the ordinary.
When I go again. I will want to try the Sicilian pizza and Italian rolls. But I won't necessarily get more appetizers. But if you have kids and want to whip up spaghetti and meatballs I would get their meatballs for that.

Hands down the best pizza in the Groton area. I've been to New London pizzerias, Mystic pizzarias, and Norwich / Gales Ferry pizzarias. This place is it. They have something for everyone. Our favorite is the Chicken Carbonara by far. Nothing quite like it. Crust on their pizza is perfectly thin and they don't overdo it with the toppings - there are just enough. The employees are a pretty friendly batch as well. I haven't tried their subs.

Great pie, I’m a pizza fanatic an have eaten pies all over the country a this was a very good pie. If you’re in the area this is definitely the go to place to get a great pizza! Highly recommended

Made a quick stop for some pizza by the slice! The place is always great. Pizza is top notch. Great tasting crust, sauce has good flavor, plenty of cheese, and the topping selection is good. We picked up three slice today; two meat lovers and a slice of cheese. Tasted great. The slices of pizza are very large. We have tried their garlic knots before and those were good too.

Food is amazing. Garlic knots are so delicious, soft and just the right amount of butter. Mozzarella sticks delicious, pizza and wings. Good chose after getting turned down by Mangos in mystic. Happy I came here instead. Oh service was amazing and very friendly.

Excellent pizza. The sauce the cheese everything is just perfect. The staff is polite, friendly, and courteous. Family owned since 1989.

My fiancé and I had just driven 2 hours and set up for 2 hours at Mohegan Sun for an event and had just checked into our hotel, and really wanted pizza for dinner but only had 20 minutes till closing time at this place, and we walked in and asked if they could still do a whole pizza, and they politely said yes, and killer it. The two guys there were super nice, whipped up a half cheese half roni, and through in garlic knots for free, and gave us all the plates and napkins needed for our pizza at our hotel. The pizza was bomb, I literally paused to write this review. If your in town, and looking for great pizza, we will definitely be back. Thank you guys for a killer dinner and we may see you again throughout our 3 day stay in CT!

I’m from NY so having their pizza reminds me of NY style pizza. They taste great and their garlic knots are soft and tasty. Would highly recommend!

I hadn't been to this place in so long, but I'll definitely be going back more often. The pizza is very good, and you feel like they really appreciate their customers. The lunch slice special is a great deal also.

Best New York style pizza in the area by far! They also sell by the slice. Everyone who works there has been great too, definitely recommend! The chicken bacon ranch is our favorite.

My husband and I started coming here for pizza a couple of months ago after trying it on a whim. The customer service the first time was top notch so we continued to order.

We scheduled a good size lunch order for a business lunch for today last night. It came on time, fresh, and correct!
