Vincitori Apizza

I had no idea that Niantic had a spot for New Haven style apizza, but I visited the town for the first time this past weekend and was instantly drawn to this restaurant! Their seasonal Arancini special was delicious, and we were definitely happy with our pizza! It has just the right amount of char, plenty of cheese and sauce, and crispy pepperoni. I liked the flavor of the garlic oil that they put on there too. The crust itself was thin, but could’ve been a little crispier for the true New Haven style. Our waitress was friendly and the food came out quickly. Definitely happy with our meal here and would recommend them to anyone visiting town! I know we’ll be keeping it in mind for future visits.

It’s the start of football szn so naturally we ordered pizza for delivery! I got the vincitori pizza & a pepperoni & sausage pizza. When they delivered the pizza it was still hot & fresh! The pizza was thin crust & perfectly cooked & so so delicious! Overall 10/10 experience, we will be ordering again!

Wow! Pizza Trifecta! The sauce was superb, the dough was perfect— not too thick and not too thin and soft but with just the right amount of crispiness, and out of this world fresh toppings.

Oh and the seafood soup was absolutely delish. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

Stopped here for a quick pizza after a day at the Book Barn. The staff brought the food outside to the sidewalk tables for us. The pizza was AMAZING. Best I've had outside of New Haven / Brooklyn. Will absolutely come back.

Delicious! We enjoyed the Vincitori pizza after a day at the beach and it was so yummy. Service was friendly, pizza came out super quick and tasted great.

Had the pep and pine pizza, it was tasty! Will return and looking forward to trying other menu items.

Have frequented this establishment and the original review stands true still. The staff is always polite and very quick. Have liked every pizza ordered thus far along with the Garlic bites (Dough balls stuffed with mozzarella and covered with oil and garlic).

We will continue to frequent this restaurant for as long as they are around!

Our first time at Vincitori Apizza and we were very pleased with their pizza and service. Both the red sauce and cheeses on their signature pie, The Vincitori, were terrific. Also had the special circa 1985 pie, which was also tasty. We are looking forward to going back.

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. This was a great experience. It all started with the very friendly people working here. I ordered a meatball appetizer, a pep and pine pizza, and their Vincentori pizza, which is a grandma style pizza. The meatballs were excellent. Two huge solid meatballs that had the flavor of the sauce throughout. The pepperoni and pineapple pizza was great also. Thin crust, slightly crispy but chewy also. Nice flavor and plenty of toppings. The grandma pizza was also very good. I have never had it this way before, traditional crust with red sauce and dollops of cheese on top. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.9.

I'm originally from New York City and the only time I am satisfied with Pizza is when I go to NYC or New Haven. Let me tell you, this pizza is absolutely phenomenal! The pizza is thin, when folded it doesn't sag, not a lot of oil, nice char, crunchy but soft crust. I just have no words. I probably spent over $250 over the past month and half ordering from Vincitori lol. Keep up the amazing work, high quality ingredients, and phenomenal service. Thank you for coming into this area and giving everyone an experience, and a true pizza!

This might be the best pizza I have had in southern CT. The crush, cheese, everything about it was perfect. I was pleased at how the ordering process for dine-in was. The options are for pizza only if I recall and the service was top-notch. If you are walking along the Niantic shore and was pizza with something extra, I would absolutely recommend this place.

A homerun. The pizza was amazing with the crust being the absolute star of the show. The service was excellent and friendly. A good barometer to me of the quality of the pizza is how well it heats up the next day and it was superb the next day as well.

A big shout out to Matt and the boys at Vincitori for welcoming us and whipping up a delicious meal during last night's 'phantom snowstorm'. When other dining establishments in Niantic were less than welcoming to myself and my wife Matt greeted us with a warm welcome and a super meal. I have done numerous take out orders from Vincitori but this was my first dine in experience. Have to give the food and the service 5 stars. This is the hidden gem in Niantic.

Great pizza, everything we've tried is great. Have had seafood Chowder also with lots of seafood in it, Fantastic. Friendly and attentive service to boot.

Small space but everyone very welcoming. Loved the sauce for the margarita

Roasted tomatoes, spinach and gorgonzola pie is amazing! Just sayin...

Excellent pizza, super light and crisp dough. The seafood chowder was fresh and delicious, and chicken wings were crispy! Amazing lunch!

A great way to end a day by the shore…VINCITORI Apizza, Niantic, CT!!!! My husband and I stopped in for a pizza on our way home. We were greeted by an extremely friendly young man. We sat and he instantly brought over menus. Water was brought to us right away-we didn’t even have to ask. Now, first of course we had an appetizer…meatballs with sauce and ricotta cheese. Oh my goodness, what a treat. Then we had a buffalo chicken pizza. Without giving any secrets, if you really enjoy buffalo chicken pizza, this is the place to go hands down!!! They have a terrific version of this great pizza! Like my husband told our wonderful waitress “this has ruined buffalo chicken pizza for us anywhere else”! They should have a food critic visit like Mystic Pizza! Throughout our meal the place was really busy but the staff wasn’t even phased. Same bright smiles and politeness to all. We spoke with the manager to let him know personally what a great dining experience we had, that his staff was great and the food was amazing!!! Thank you so much VINCITORI Apizza, Niantic CT!!!

We’re always in the area, and every time I get a whiff of the pizza I say man that smells good. Today it happens again, and I said you know what, today we’re going to try it. And I’m glad that I did. Staff is friendly, and the pizza is great. I’ll definitely be back. Be sure to stop by if you want some real, real pizza. Take a look at that, and tell me it doesn’t look good. That’s what we literally just had.

Best pizza around. Thin crust with crispy bubbles on the edges. Meatball appetizer is off the hook!
