Groton Bible Chapel

I had a totally incredible experience here. This is not your traditional church, but one with lots of lively people and a great gathering. If you have left church and want to go back, this might be the place you want to go to. I went to the 1045 service. I am guessing there was probably 300 people there.

This is a wonderful church! They teach the truth of God's Word unapologetically from a loving perspective. The congregation and staff are friendly and welcoming. I attended all of 2021 and have since moved away with the military but anytime I am in the area, I still come to GBC. Some of my family members attend GBC and have found an incredible church home. Their worship is so worshipful and there are some very talented musicians and vocalists in the church! The children's programs are amazing as are the small groups. I'm thankful for this body of Christ and their ministry to their area of New England and to the military members who attend.

Attended here all of 2012, amazing experience love the services music and people. The Bible studies and small groups were very welcoming and friendly but also educational and thought provoking! I now live in VA but my parents and family in CT still attend! My family and I watch online! So great to get to worship with yall!!

This church truly is welcoming. After moving to Groton a year ago and looking for a church we felt this was a good fit for us. There is some much to do for everyone. The kids program is fantastic. Our 2 boys love going to their class on Sunday and even Wednesday. Definitely would recommend visiting!

GBC is a great place to worship and has lots of family activities. Jesus is our Lord and Savior.

As a military family, we love the connections that we’ve made at GBC - it is our “local family”! The pastors are caring and accessible, the doctrine and teaching are sound and impactful, and the kids & youth ministries are encouraging all three of our girls to grow spiritually (plus they always look forward to going!). Definitely come check them out if you are in the area!

I absolutely love the community and support that we have found at GBC. We were welcomed with open arms and felt accepted the moment that we walked through the doors. As a mother of two young children, I am incredibly grateful to be part of a church who is so committed to making sure that children are safe and learn about Jesus in a way that they understand. They love going to church each week! I also have found a wonderful village of moms to walk through this season with.
If you are looking for a church family, I can’t reccomend GBC highly enough.

I love this church family! The programs they have for my kids help them to grow in the Lord. The Youth Ministry is so amazing! The Women's Ministry is just phenomenal!! I can't say enough great things about this family!!!!

Great place of worship, and the ministry is wonderful. The kids programs are amazing (pre covid) and now as we are slowly getting back into things, it should be better than ever with the new renovations to the children's ministry side of the church.

My husband grew up in this area and had been searching for a church home as an adult for a few years. When he found GBC, he knew he found that home. I began attending with him shortly before we got engaged last year and immediately felt welcomed. Everyone I've interacted with is friendly, kind and loves God. There are numerous ways to "plug in", get to know people, serve and feel like you are part of a real community. Most importantly, the church is entirely Christ-centered. The pastors are exceptional at explaining the Word in relevant ways—each sermon gives my husband and I so much to talk about and helps us grow spiritually. For people who have been intimidated by churches in the past—give GBC a try! It's such a welcoming place to worship and connect with other believers!

We originally came to GBC for the kids programs.. and they have been nothing short of amazing! We love everything about this church and are so thankful to be apart of the GBC family. The worship is awesome and so are the sermons!

The best church I've ever attended. Doctrinally sound, and determined to show God's love to all who can be reached. Look into small groups to get both cloud fellowship and Christian growth.

Kids have really enjoyed the VBS the past few days. The church made the kids and I feel very comfortable and were very welcoming.

It’s a large church with a tight community. Sermons are impactful and the worship music is phenomenal. The youth and kids ministries are amazing and the church is doing a lot in the community.
