Barnum Financial Group: Smith Allen

I have worked with Al Smith for over 25 yrs! He is a very disciplined financial advisor who knows his clients and truly cares about them. He handles their investments while I handle their insurances and I think we make a great team!

I disagree with other reviewers. Allen Smith has been with the company for 40 years. He is very professional and very knowledgeable. He is not pushy at all like other agents or financial planners. It sounds to me like the other reviews are more of a complaint about a big company. Allen services his clients very well but can’t service ANY client who calls or walks through the door. That is not how it works.

Yesterday, my husband and I were picking up a new car. The salesman called to add the new vehicle to our policy. Allen sharply told him to "stop calling over and over because I am with a customer. Call Sally in the morning because I don't know how to do any of that! "
W.O.W!! Glad it was on speaker phone so that others at the dealership could hear. The salesman only called one time. Allen can rest assured that we will not be calling back.
Sally has provided amazing and efficient service over the years. I'll miss her.

I went to the closest Metlife agent for a simple copy of my insurance card. After getting the insurance by internet and phone. They were at a loss and couldn't figure out how to do a simply task. Then the agent Smith Allen said they couldn't do anything because I didn't get my insurance through them. I called Metlife gave them the E-mail had it sent to the Secretary's E-mail had to hide outside the office to get my paper work. The agent is unprofessional and shouldn't be a part of a good insurance company.

Rude,rude,rude. They have no idea what policies my late father in law has. We have 4different policy numbers and everyone I talked to since his passing, can't give us the info and keep charging him for a place he sold in 2011 and then tried to only refund 1 year. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I even tried to go to the office to talk to them but they wouldn't even help then either..
