Frog Rock Seasonal Park

Cool rock. 🤪 I didn’t go hiking the trails because it was too hot. I did go for the music and fish & chips. The food took quite longer than I wanted because I went there pretty hungry. I don’t suggest you do that lol it was really good food though. I will go again.

Great food, small menu keeps things fresh and served up quickly. Love the picnic area and on the weekends you can catch a band.

The food is your standard burgers and dogs but cooked really well.
Don't forget the random antique shop and the giant rock painted like a frogs head.

Food stand was good, quick service, good food. Had a very good burger. Ice cream is good, staff is very pleasant and friendly.

Little antique store is nice, kids loved the playground and lawn games. And of course the Frog itself.

Really great place, will definitely be back.

Have been often. Yesterday went to see Horizon Raptor presentation and live music. Have been to see live music here a couple times. Last summer came for the V.W. meet and live music. They welcome your pets which is great. Food is available. A small antique shop is also on premises.

Best clam cakes I have ever had! The perfect doughy, cakey, not to heavy, not to light, perfect crisp without too greasy, and real clam(not minced). Very nice staff.

I love little oddities in the form of a big rock painted like a frog - first in 1918, an oddity museum, memorial or shrine. Well this one qualifies! it was a bit hard to find however. with Google map I got it easily. A new fellow has purchased the location from the state and has a small antique store I got an old Eric Clapton record in great shape for 3 bucks) and a trailer snack / burger / chowder kitchen.. You eat outside, the place sells coke, but lists it on a pepsi sign. The Coke Bottle cap picnic tape is too cute and the people are oh so nice. It is next to a forest (state park) and is a lovely place for a picnic and more.

Joe & Lisa turned the Rock into an escape from reality. Music, great food, different unique functions (wild birds, car shows, arts& crafts) etc., Bring the family, dogs and friends to a little piece of heaven

Great piece of America's pastime nestled in the back roads of Connecticut. You can stop to stretch your legs, have a bite to eat, explore the antique shop and let the kids play at the little playground.

Friendly faces to take your order, great milkshakes, wooded outdoor eating and playing areas, a great little antique shop, and a great big rock painted like a frog for pictures!

Very cute little place . Offers cookout type food . Friendly staff .and they have music.

Great little spot for a snack off the beaten path. The lobster rolls we're all lobster on a nicely toasted bun.

Great little gem of CT,I highly recommend it if you are out for a drive and want a good priced meal with a easygoing atmosphere and great live music.

Sad that the place is now privately owned and seasonal, but glad that it still exists. Someday, I'll be there in the open season.
