Tea More Cafe

Wanted to celebrate my birthday so we each went to get food from different places. My friend convinced me to go to tea more to get food, and i definitely did not regret it. I got the stir fried beef with cumin (super good and perfect spice level). We also came to realize that the place is called tea more because it has tea and more (i hope that’s the correct interpretation LOL). I also got their pineapple bubble tea with strawberry popping boba which was so so good. Highly recommend.

Good authentic Chinese, portion is huge..

Hands down BEST Chinese food around! I consider it to be pretty "authentic" and not as boring as most Chinese American food. Flavor is always on point, portions are great, quality is top notch. Never once have I been disappointed here!

My favorite cultural menu in the area catering to both authentic and American style cuisine. Even if fearful, I recommend ordering from the authentic menu specifically anything with spicey beef! Also my top option for tea out of the 2 others in the area.

Definitely the best bubble tea of all the options in the area. Whale and Eatjoy are fine, Tea More is excellent.
Food is also always delicious - rice was tender & fluffy, and considering the area, you get a large portion for what you pay!

The staff were lovely and the soup I ordered came out hot and delicious. Definitely give your soup time to cool before you eat it 😅

Great spot for some fantastic food. Menu is on point, portions are good, and everything is simply delicious. If you're in the area, it's a must stop.

First of all, this is the best asian cafe on Storrs campus. I recently moved to CT from NYC (big life changing event), and this restaurant brought me closer to all the food I miss in NYC. I usually get the Mala Spicy Pot for take-out; they give you a decent amount of food. It usually lasts a couple meals for the two of us. This is my go to take-out place every other week. Sometimes I would even drive 30 minutes to campus just to get food from this cafe.

Tea More is my absolute favorite place to get Chinese food around here! I hadn't tried it until a couple of months ago because I honestly thought it was like Whale Tea where they only sell bubble tea. But their Chinese food tops any place in the area.

Local favorite for the Asian students of UCONN. Love their hot teas! Their food is really good as well. Staff is very nice and a pleasure to deal with. Food is cooked quickly and ready when you pick up.

This was a great find for us. The food was amazing. My sister is known for getting the worst thing of the menu. She said if the Spicy fatty beef was the worst thing on the menu then she isn't mad. Will definitely be coming back again.

If you're looking for authentic and delicious Chinese Food featured in a comfortable open setting, then you must eat here. It also has the best Bubble Tea in town.

Food - To an American the food looks unique. But when you eat it, it's absolutely delicious. Think of Ramen, but perfected. There's also various other options such as brazen chicken and other foods which are all delicious. They offer menus which are both in Mandarin and English. The female staff is fluent in English and can clarify any questions you may have, and even make special orders and alterations.

If you're a Mandarin-speaking Chinese, then this place is simply the closest thing you'll get to authentic street food. Every time I enter the restaurant, the place is packed with Asian college students looking to eat something delicious and relaxing to help ease post-study stress. When you order, the general wait time is around five minutes, which considering how many people are generally there is not bad at all.

Atmosphere - The inside is minimalist, and pretty standard for a Mansfield cafe. There's seats, tables, a bathroom, and a counter to order your food. The size is relatively small and cozy, but there's plenty of seating for everyone. It's simple, but the main attraction is simply the delicious food. Since the restaurant is neighboring a street corner, there are large wide open windows which makes the place seem larger and warmer.

Customer Service - The ladies who order your food are kind, patient, and speak fluent English. They are pretty knowledgeable about the food, and know how to compare it to other foods Americans might be more familiar with. If you request a receipt, they'll give one to you and you can use that to ensure you're getting the correct order.

Overall: If you're from China and are looking for a reminder of home, bring a friend and eat here. If you're an American looking for unique but delicious meals and an incredible Bubble Tea drink, stop by and enjoy something special. You can order online for pickup too.

The sweet and sour chicken is amazing, and their service is quick and terrific. I go here as often as I can. The Thai tea that they have with Boba is the best I have ever tasted.

Look all I'm saying is that if you're in the UCONN / Storrs area you absolutely must try this restaurant. The owners are lovely people, food is very good and teas are delicious! I will always recommend this place. You can get it delivered by grubhub or doordash

Absolutely delicious authentic food. Fish Ball spicy soup with instant noodles is unstoppable. The best place for noodles at UConn. Super legit.

I literally love this place. I always get the mala tang and the service is so friendly. For sure recommend! The soup is so comforting!

The garlic tofu combo is excellent! Super soft rice, and a good portion for the price. Love it!
