Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dubuque-West, an IHG Hotel

The people here were very nice and the breakfast buffet was actually set up a half hour before we thought it was going to be. It was one lady a little Renee and she was awesome

So far, so great! Enviorment staff guests are all uniquely a treat. I may have been here with my partner for a long-term period of time, but it's been the more interesting part of my experience going through these times. They earned there 5 stars with flying rainbows 🌈 lol if you plan on a trip and have to schedule a stay, make it worth the pay and experience the Express kind of stay. Want to feel alive again, or make a connection, or just get some time to yourself, no matter where or how far you are, I'm sure they would love to have you as a guest. But most of all, don't forget to have breakfast. We have stayed at all the "Hotels, Motels, and Holiday Inns!" In the area, believe it!, this one takes the cake! For breakfast, promise. It's always ready, bright and early, the literal crack of dawn. Garentee, you wake up smelly a delicious breakfast!

A little outdated version of a Holiday Inn Express, but it met all my needs for a travel stay there. Close to a lot of restaurants. Good staff. Very friendly lady checked me in the other day and she was super. Very friendly and informative. Pleasant stay.

I would ask that they renovate the fitness area or add new machines. They were pretty worn down. At least the treadmill was. My room could’ve stood to be updated, as well. The newer Holiday Inn Expresses are pretty sweet. This one could be too with a facelift and interior renovation to meet the new one’s standards. Still a good place to stay, though.

The guest services team was very nice and welcoming. Tia at the front counter was so very kind and sweet and just goes above and beyond. The pool is a decent size for smaller kids. We loved that it is close to so many restaurants. The room was huge . We got the suite and it was perfect size for my family with two small kids. We definitely will be staying here again when we visit Iowa again.

The staff was phenomenal! Lynnette and Jacob were exceptional-above and beyond on the kindness/ accommodating scale. Everybody on staff was wonderful-will stay again for this reason alone. Generous breakfast quantities, clean comfortable rooms, close parking, excellent pricing and value! Perfect for families, seniors, EVERYBODY!!

From check in to check out I was treated like family! Lynnette was so kind and personable--I locked myself out of my room twice and she remade my key without any hassle! The room and bathroom were very clean! The bed was perfect! I also had a refrigerator, microwave and keurig in the room! Breakfast was a to-go bag due to covid, very generous! (Some hotels give you nothing.) I would come back!

This is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in! We've traveled all over the US and Europe. The complemental breakfast was wonderful, everything a person would need including eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, etc. The pool and whirlpool were wonderful! The highlight of the room is the shower. The water pressure in the shower we had was the best water pressure anywhere, and far exceeds that in our home! We will always stay here when we are in Dubuque!

Clean, friendly staff! Pool and hot tub were new and clean and the water quality was great👍😁 my son, who always complains about the chlorine stayed for an hour playing catch with me. The shower in the pool are had hot water to rinse off in. The pool towels were clean and stocked. The room was clean. The rollaway was brought up quickly and fit snugly into the room, but worked great. Parking was great, and the location was 9 minutes from ski hill! Very pleased would stay again

Really nice room. Lots of space. The pool and got tub worked really nice. We had a great time. The breakfast area was wonderful. Lots of variety. Would definitely recommend staying there.

I like this hotel when I stayed there it was pack,but i watched the desk staff handled everyone with a smile and with kids glove. This hotel has everything you need when you are away from home. A spa,laundry room to wash clothes, pool and spa workout room. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are soft. The floor I stayed on was quiet . I was so happy that they provided a breakfast which was healthy and tasty. I would stay here again

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was very comfortable. We liked how close it was to restaurants (there is a great Thai place nearby) and that they even give you discounts at the restaurants if you show your room key!

The staff was super friendly and quick to help us anytime we needed something.

We also loved how the beds had two choices of pillows, soft and firm. So no matter what you will get a good nights sleep according to your preferences.

There is also a pool and a hot tub that we sadly were unable to use but it seemed to be a popular activity especially for the families there.

Arrived in town 7hrs early and called with little hope of checking in that far ahead. While they didn't have a room ready at 9am, our angel at the front desk named Connie was on point and said she would be happy to accommodate us at 11 as soon as housekeeping shows up. Rooms were clean and nicely updated, beds were comfy, and breakfast was hot and plentiful. Perfect location for us as it is the closest hotel to Sundown Mountain ski area. Thank you for the hospitality and a peaceful stay, will definitely stay here next time we are in town!

While checking into the hotel Jody provided excellent customer service! Upon getting into our room I noticed the rooms were very spacious and clean. The bed is very comfortable and there was not only a desk to do some work out but a nice lounge chair to put my feet up and watch TV. The room also had a small refrigerator and a microwave as well as a coffee machine. I really enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn Express and will try and stay here every time I come to Dubuque.

Easy check in. Convenient to most places to eat. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and courteous! Vending machines that support Apple Pay makes for an easy grab for a drink and snack. (Some drinks were out of date) 😎

My stay was GREAT! the staff was so friendly and helpful, very pleasant to talk to.
The manager I believe Kim she was very helpful and accommodating, its nice to see customer service like that. Definitely will return and recommend. Breakfast was very nice.

We were in town for a swim meet at the high school and the location of the hotel was perfect..less than a 5 minute drive. There were many restaurants and places to shop very close by. The hotel was very nice, check in was a breeze. No complaints about the room either. It was very clean and everything in order. The breakfast the next day was great also, especially for the swimmers. They loved the variety. I would recommend it to family and friends.

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Dubuque West very much! I appreciate a professional staff who can get you checked in right away, and they did. My hotel suite was clean and spacious. It included several televisions, a sofa in the living area, and a great big comfortable bed! The hot breakfast in the morning was excellent. It's also conveniently located near all the stores and restaurants that you would need. I would definitely stay here again!
