Beautiful bike trail north west is a 25 mile pack gravel. In this direction it is a old railroad track converted over to a bike path. Beautiful scenery there are very few bathrooms in this directions. Make sure you bring plenty of water with you.
3 1/2 miles west from the trail head there is a small little family restaurant/sports bar.
I have seen all ages in there.
The other direction is all blacktop and in this direction water and bathroom can be found.
there are restaurants not far from the trail.
This bike trail is for all ages beautiful scenery.
In this direction, you can ride the bike trail all the way to the Mississippi River.
They also have really nice fishing at this pond.
There is also heritage campground next to heritage pond.

A trailhead, a fishing hole, a photo op, and a gathering spot. It’s a much needed slice of nature that offers a respite from the daily grind and world events …and it’s located just outside of the city.

The trails are great for running and biking. The surface is crushed limestone and it was well maintained. There was a lot of shade and it was quite scenic.

Nice place to walk and its close to our house. Very nice way to get some exercise and see off the beaten path. The info stands make it interesting for everyone. We'll go farther next time. Might even be time to get some bikes......

The trail was very nice with plenty of shade. The wood bridges are very rough on a bike!

Great place to go walk. The trail is always well maintained. Although they do ask for you to pay $15 to get a permit to walk it but if you visit nobody ever checks, but I try to pay my 15$ for the year so it keeps looking good

Bike trail is always well maintained. I just road to Dyersville yesterday and with all the storms I found no damage. Crews were blowing leaves off the trail.
A road bike can be used but I would recommend a hybrid or fat tire bike.

Nice little pond we found while driving along. It had bike trails and fishing and even a place to have a bbq. Very neat, tons of trees and grassy area. Good for a picnic.
