Hampton Inn Dubuque

My family stayed in a very spacious suite that was accommodating to our golden retriever. Addison made us feel very welcome upon our arrival and was very helpful with all questions we had. We will definitely stay here again.

A hidden gem, this hotel is tucked away yet you can access retail, grocery and food establishments within a short walking distance! Front desk staff were amazing, Addison and Melissa gave amazing food recommendations and helped us with directions! These two definitely went above and beyond for us!

A clean and well kept hotel. Modern facility with nice pool and work out room. The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great. Could walk to Target and HyVee, plus a little strip mall. I thought the cost for the hotel was a little on the high side even though it was so nice, but I feel not out of ordinary for the area.

Wonderful hotel! Much better than I expected! Microwave and refrigerator in the room. King bed was comfortable. Big hot breakfast from 6 am to 9 am. Brandi was exceptionally helpful.

Excellent staff that provided good communication about the stay, and was very helpful when anything was needed. Clean, beautiful, and comfortable hotel. Everything was in working order. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. The gym was just fine, no issues, and cold water and towels were complimentary, which was awesome. Breakfast was always on time, and was ok....I just wished there was some more options for healthy conscious people, and that the bread wasn't as dry, but it was overall good! We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was great. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay there again next time we travel to Dubuque!

Friendly workers and nice clean room. Only annoying thing is that the bathroom door doesn't lock (it's a barn door). Breakfast was good and they had a wide variety of things that they restocked regularly. The location is also super convenient next to restaurants and grocery stores if you wanna grab your own food.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Checking in was super fast and smooth. Carolyn at the front desk was especially welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great location with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Excellent/attentive staff, clean rooms and great location makes this the perfect place to stay if you are traveling to the Dubuque area.

We had a great experience with the Hampton. We planned to stay 1 night with both our kids (3 months & 2 years). The staff was friendly, check-in process was easy, and the room was clean and well stocked. We checked in at 3, spent a few hours there and left for dinner at 5.
Upon returning for the night, our 2 year old REFUSED to sleep, or let our baby sleep.
After 2 hours spent trying to get him to sleep, we elected to drive home at 10:15. I checked out and mentioned that our child wasn't cooperating, but thanks. I never even mentioned a refund.
However, that's exactly what they gave me the next day- a full refund. Greatly appreciated- highly recommend the Hampton Dubuque!

We drove down to Dubuque from Wisconsin for a rodeo and had asked for an early check-in upon arrival and they were able to accommodate that. The room was a bit smaller than we expected a King room to be but it was still very nice, I especially loved the huge walk in shower! The pool was warm and the hot tub was the perfect temp. The breakfast was great, loved the hot options, Saturday was scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy and Sunday was omelets, sausage and potatoes plus there was the usual waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, pop tarts yogurt and oatmeal.

Excellent location, close to restaurants, fast food and other points of interest. The room is very clean and the customer service is excellent.

Great hotel to stay at. Location is close by dining and shopping establishments. Comfortable beds, with large TVs and Showtime On-demand. Internet was great with upgraded level for Hilton Honors members.

Staff was very friendly and the room was nice! Beds were very comfy and had a homey feel for a modern look. Everything is up to date and works, the breakfast was good and healthy. Located right by the malls. Strongly recommend.

Lots of parking to accommodate 26 foot carpet and crew cab pickup. Lot of shops and food in walking distance. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Family injoy the stay. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Will keep this one on the list of stops we use. Thanks for the stay.

I thought everything was very convenient. Folks were very kind, and it was very clean. The pool is 3-5 ft but it's very nice for a kid/adult wanting to kick back and unwind. Also a hot tub in the poolside. There is also a fitness room near the pool area. In the same hallway. There were basic items to workout with. ( weights and treadmills). Great experience.

Very nice room we used the pool and ate the hot breakfast. All was nice and acceptable for this level of hotel. Close to restaurants, shopping, and National River Museum and Aquarium which was very enjoyable. No complaints at all. Will stay here again.

Visiting family in Dubuque. Good location along Highway 20 near several restaurants, a Target and a shopping mall. Good breakfast, as per usual with Hampton Inns. Pool is nice. Excellent facilities and service personnel all were very pleasant and professional. Price of hotel a little high but coming out of the pandemic this was to be expected. Overall, great stay and I would recommend this hotel to others.
