Boiling SOHO - Newington

This is my partners favorite spot. Went there around 7 pm, and it was empty besides a family at the patio. The service was fast, and the food was amazing!!! My child had the seafood broil for the 1st time, and he finished the whole thing. The owner, Alex, came to greet us and made sure we had everything to enjoy our food and time. Music was super dope; they were playing old skool R&B. Definitely recommend this spot for couples, families, and friends.

Details: It's a Sunday night, my wife and I just left a wedding dresses shop and were very hungry. We're arrived at Boiling SOHO at 8PM. We started with 6 Charcoal Blue Point Oysters, I suggest that you order Garlic Bread to eat with the sauce on the Oyster, it's good. For the main entrée, we got a Combo C (with clams, shrimp head-on, crawfish, lobster tail); add in corn, pork sausage, garlic bread, white rice; and SOHO special sauce. The sauce here is not too spicy (Medium level), which is good. My wife can enjoy it. So we have tried Cajun Seafood at Hook and Reel, we think this place is better. Hook and Reel has their sauce a bit salty at the end, where Boiling SOHO has it just right. We will definitely come back when we want Cajun Seafood again.

Great seafood. Good service. Will definitely be back. Parking is convenient and staff very friendly.

My only complaint is that there is limited seating it is a small space with only about 4-5 tables. Food is usually a hit, but the last time I went, the fried rib tips were not good at al.There was too much batter, all you could taste was the flour coating

Very nice and clean interior. Attentive and polite service. It seemed that many customers that came in were regulars who had a nice relationship with who I presume was the owner. They were happy to see him and chat with him. Boil bag was cooked appropriately (not overcooked), good flavor, and was priced reasonably. It is a very strong rival to other restaurants with similar offerings, and perhaps even better than a lot of them. I liked the variety the menu offered. Some classic seafood staples and other elevated choices for people who are more adventerous. I wasnt sure if the person I was going out to eat with would like seafood boil, so the variety made me choose this place for dinner. Overall this was a great experience and I would be happy to come back and recommend it to others who enjoy seafood.

This is my new favourite Cajun seafood restaurant. The staff were courteous and friendly. The food was great, very flavourful but not overwhelming. You could tell the the fish was fresh, and the best part is that seafood wasn’t fishy smelling or tasting (which you get with a lot of these types of places unfortunately).

We ordered oysters, and coconut shrimp to start and built our own boil. Again, the food was great (it smelt so good that we ate it all before I could take a picture). On the night we came, it was a little slow so our food came out pretty quickly.

It’s a newer place with a great atmosphere and outdoor sitting patio.

Can’t wait to come back in the summer and hang out on their patio! Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I LOVE CHOSEN ONE AND HUNGRY CRAB UNTIL INFINITY….. but hands down this place is a tad bit more expensive than those restaurants for a sea food boil bag …. BUT the food quality is beyond immaculate and it’s worth every penny and their seasoning sauce isn’t your average seasoning sauce . I recommend Cajun mild spicy red sauce . I love this place I can’t wait to go on another date here with somebody son. And the guy who works up front he even take shots with you ❤

Amazing is all I need to say! Skeptical of atmosphere at first but it turned out to be an amazing experience.

I love this place and I'm so happy they came to Newington! We've gotten the seafood boil bags for takeout and they are so so good, and went there for lunch today and sat outside. Their raw bar is great, we got oysters and shrimp cocktail, and mini crab cakes and shrimp fried rice and grilled scallops, which were all amazing. Everything we've tried so far has not disappointed. I hope they get busy this summer so they survive the pandemic. We're going to take our kids there soon, because they have a good kid's menu too.

1st time and it was a lovely experience. Love the herb garden on deck and server clipped fresh mint for our drinks. Scallop teriaki and seaweed salad were immaculate. Cant wait to go back!

I was looking for a raw bar near by and I stumbled on to this place. Without looking too much into the restaurant I said hey why not and it was a great choice. I got here on a Friday at happy hour (J didn’t even realize it) and I was able to find a seat at the bar. I was greeted by friendly staff and attended too almost immediately. I decided to keep it light and order a few happy hour bites with some raw selection. Let’s start with the best the raw oyster and clams were AMAZING! Todays picks were fresh, delicious, and not that small size where you know the shells haven’t even fully developed. The happy hour app sizes were perfect. The edamame as someone who always orders it if I see it on the menu was delicious, light and perfectly salted. The spicy pepper had a nice kick but not too hot to take you out and the rock shrimp, might be my new favorite thing. I will definitely be coming back here. It’s a nice quant area on the Berlin turnpike, cozy environment with a nice ambiance and the food speaks for it self. I’ll definitely be coming back and I definitely recommend this place if you a see food lover.

Excellent! We ordered a couple captains feast and one of the combos (boils). It was absolutely AMAZING!!! So delicious. We will definitely be returning as often as possible. And for the amount of food we received, the price was absolutely worth it! The seafood was also extremely fresh!

I really enjoyed the environment as it was clean and welcoming. I ordered a Mango Mojito and it was very good!! The food was also very good, fresh, and had a perfect amount of spice. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a seafood boil dinner.

Friends and I went here last night and it was amazing. I had the crawfish, snow crab and shrimp boil and it was delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Great place for Cajun food. Will be back.
