We really enjoyed this place! Loved their big tall pops. They have Pepsi products. Friendly staff. We had the grilled pork chop sandwich and fries. It was very good. Nice size portions. Also lots of fun cocktails

Been going here for years. Cave-ins and long islands are great.. All the food is good, one place you can go and get different items and every thing is good.

Awesome environment, super friendly staff, quality food and large menu of tasty burgers. 1 down 19 Burgers to go. The Burger pictured was there signature burger that was recommended and I did ask for the 2/3 Patty. As you can see, the burger is bigger than the bun. Very filling even for someone with a large appetite.

Their food is great. The service is great. The only complaint I have is the dude sitting on the divider between the main floor and the elevated floor. He creeps me out.

I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and she had the Polynesian burger. We also split an order of breaded mushrooms as an appetizer.

The appetizer arrived quickly and was yummy.

This was my first time having a tenderloin sandwhich and ot was HUGE! Enough meat for three sandwiches. It was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. I had to box up the leftovers for a late might snack.

She enjoyed her burger as well, though a bit under cooked from the ordered medium. Nevertheless, it was tasty.

The fries were meh, but neither of had room for many fries anyway with all of the other food.

The staff was nice and friendly, the service was quick and accurate (save the burger doneness), and the dining room was clean and covid approved.

We recommend for sure.

Got a burger and substituted clam strips I almost couldn't finish. So yummy. $21 with a bottomless soda.

This is probably one of my favorite burgers in town. Reasonable prices in a great staff. Liz and pj do a fantastic job.

Have enjoyed lunch here several times. Great service. This is apparently a highly favorite spot for many people. Crowded every time we ate there. Food is standard bar/grill food served hot and if good sized portion. Highly recommend this establishment but be patient their busy.

The cave in is definitely my favorite drink here! All their burgers are delicious!

This is our go-to place in Dubuque. Whether we are shopping or on a date night. Burgers are always done perfectly, and we always get a basket of cheese curds or onion rings to go with the burgers. If you like adult beverages, try the Cave In. It's incredible. They also have gift certificates that make awesome gifts.

Fantastic food. Got the fried cauliflower as a starter, and everyone got a burger of some kind. The table got very quiet after the food came, a good sign when everyone stops talking to eat! I got the kind of rueben burger, personally I don't think it tops the classic, but it sure was good!

Excellent service, food and drinks. If you haven't been there...GO!!
