Love the ease of scheduling appointments to fit my own personal schedule and how friendly the staff is! My son loves the staff and our appointments are always on time!

I have two girls who had all their ortho done with Dr Shelly. I loved the simplicity of appointments being right in Algona and their flexibility in scheduling! We could usually pick when appointments would work for us on the days they were in town, and if they needed rescheduled, they were very accommodating. My girls could leave school, be in and out of an appointment, and back to school in less than an hour. I also felt Dr Shelly was very competent in orthodontics and dental care. We never had any problems, like loose or broken brackets, etc., and my girls and I felt good about the care they received. I felt that Dr Shelly worked hard to keep the span of time that the braces were on their teeth to a minimum, while not rushing anything or compromising any quality orthodontic care. This was especially important for one of my daughters that has poor enamel. We were concerned about more decay problems on those teeth since it is more difficult to floss and clean around teeth while braces are on. I felt he was very knowledgeable about her issue and gave it proper priority, while watching closely for problems along the way. When completed and still, two years later, my girls both have beautiful, healthy teeth!

The Shelly Team is super - I felt taken care of very well. Each person I had encounters with went above expectations to make sure I was satisfied, to get me answers/resolutions, and Dr Shelly did an amazing job getting my stubborn teeth straightened, I have had so many compliments on my teeth. It was also very helpful that they had offices spread out in northern IA, which saved me a lot of time for my appts. Btw, the after care is just as great. Good, consistent care. I appreciate the promptness and professionalism by all the staff - wait time is minimal, if at all, and staff is "no-nonsense" when responding to questions (ie no extra chatter!).
