Italian Moon

I have been enjoying Italian Moon for decades! From my years at UND; undergrad. grad school and teaching — to sadly moving away but making it THE ABSOLUTE MUST stop when we come back to GF to visit family.

My favorite is the homemade chicken noodle soup — love the taco pizza and the best queso.

We have had many parties 🎉 in the back party room.

All the staff were very nice and friendly, even the ones work in the kitchen (they were filling the buffet all the time). Aly was very special, she was always smiling,and friendly. M family and I were very happy, and satisfied with her service. She was a good model of hospitality. Thank you Aly and everyone for letting us build a very good memories at the restaurant.
My wife said,” they will let us drive all that way from Canada just to have a meal from Italian moon”.
The quality of food was perfect and very delicious. The flavour of every bite was unique. Professional Italian pizza makers. The creamy soup was the best. The salad bar was amazing. You have to try the fried chicken, it was really better than the fried chicken restaurants. The chicken coat was very crispy and it was tender from inside, really the taste was great. Bread sticks, and pasta was just perfect. Don’t leave before trying the ice cream.
The place and the toilets were very clean.
The overall experience; we were very satisfied with the visit and the food, we left very full.
For sure I will visit the restaurant again.

Went for the buffet and was not disappointed. Buffet was constantly being replenished with new foods. Service was good and atmosphere was even better. Would recommend for any college student. Grand forks staple

Hadn't been there in years, we used to live in GF. Stopped there last night and had the buffet. Everything was delicious! The chicken, the pizza, and the breadsticks (YUM).

I might be biased. Been going here for years. Feels like family. Here's a tip, try the burrito. If you don't mind gravy on Mexican food, it's delicious.

We hsd buffet style! The food was cooked perfectly! Nothing to fancy but juicy and tender! Perfect for my little ones, and all the food would be perfect for my older ones! Will definitely be back again when we have all our babies with us!

This place has been around a long time when I first started going here Keith Moon owned it and it’s changed hands a few times still the.Still has the Great pizza that it always had. Great queso. Awesome waitresses and managers. Very very good. dine in takeout or delivery doesn’t matter.

If you are looking for a place to have brunch on Sundays this is a good place. Children eat free on Sundays so that makes it easier for families to enjoy together. I love how they change their ice creams around. They had a lemon bar ice cream that was amazing. I haven't had that before and it was a refreshing treat.

I go there every Sunday night with friends because the food's so good.

We love family trips to Italian Moon! Kids cheese pizza, salad bar, any of the wraps or the Queso burrito are some usuals. Something for everyone, always great service and food!! Dont forget the ive cream!

I ordered online for delivery on a Sunday night. I have to say that I didn't have high hopes for very authentic Mexican food from an Italian restaurant in the Midwest but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and arrived faster than was expected. I'm a pretty big guy, but I never got to touch the extra rice and beans I ordered. The portion sizes are very generous. I'm sitting here staring at the last 1/8 of my burrito supreme debating if my stomach can take it. I'll definitely be ordering again.

I wish I could give another star each time I order food here. The food is awesome and the staff is amazing.

We have only had the pizza takeout here so I can't really speak for the restaurant atmosphere or other food, but we love the pizza! This is one more on the list of the many great pizza joints in Grand Forks. It's nice to have so many options to mix it up every now and then. Will update if we ever get to try anything else on the menu.

Great food as always, but service was the terrible.

Review is mostly for Marty... he’s a good guy. Best fish filets in the 800 block of South Washington! Grace - you’re awesome! Don’t be shy... people love food and a smile, you bring both!
Pasta la Pizza!

Celebrating Pi Day by eating our favorite Beef and Onion Pizza at the Italian Moon. (The best in town) We had to have their chips and sauce as well. We always have a great experience and get great service too. Julia was our waitress and she was awesome. We were greeted with a smile and left full and happy. We will definitely be back again soon.

One of the few places in town that has an all-day buffet *with variety*. There are other places with a buffet that specialize in one particular food, but here you'll get a mix of options. I can only speak to the day staff, but they are extremely friendly, greet you with a smile, and are quick about service. Whether you're looking for northern Mexican, pizza, sandwiches, or fried chicken, this is your place for variety to please a group with different tastes.

I get the buffet when I go there. I love to make a sprout salad. The pizza is pretty good. They have homemade dough made fresh on site. The tomato bisk soup is really good, and the spaghetti with sauce is delicious. Friendly people, I like this place. Good deal at the price also.

Good food and good service
Not my favorite today - a little greasy and soggy crust. Have had better. Usually is. Service was good.
