Canad Inns Destination Centre Grand Forks

I really have no idea what this one reviewer was talking about. I really enjoyed my time here. Sure, it's a little overwhelming being in the U.S. after such a really long time, but I'm not going to let that get in the way of a great vacation, starting with this hotel. The receptionists are really nice, and very polite, as a receptionist should be. It's also great to have a setting where you get to choose what type of channels to watch on the television, and the channels are fantastic. The room I'm staying in is also really nice, and I find it very relaxing. The pool is also really nice, and the lazy river is also fun, and you get to practice your basketball moves while swimming, as there are basketball hoops and some balls you can play with. I found my stay very enjoyable. Really great place to start a vacation.

This place really wowed us! With military discount we got a room for under 100 bucks. This place had a sports, inside water park, casino, and 3 other restaurants. The front desk personnel were helpful and polite. The rooms were super clean. The room was huge and the bed was soooo comfortable you just melted into it. The food at the lounge was very good we had the wing special . Definitely a must try item. The bartender was nice.

Skylar was such a lovely and happy person he helped me out with so many things and gave me clear directions to everywhere I needed in town. The front desk was also full of lovely people special call out to Ry who went above and beyond.

This is a fun hotel with really nice, large accommodations. Unfortunately one of the elevators was out and the hallways were really warm for some reason. Hopefully they'll get that fixed soon. Otherwise everything was perfect.

We had so much fun here! An hour drive sweet getaway for our kids while on Christmas break. Huge indoor Waterpark!

We had a slight misunderstanding at checkin. Went back to the front desk to find out what happened. The front desk attendant involved a manager. Heather the manager who appeared to be attempting to go home for the day came over. She took the time to investigate our issue. She then took customer service to the next level. She went so far above and beyond for us. Her actions ensured that any time we are in Grand Forks the only hotel we are interested in staying at is the CanadInns. Our room was excellent, the water park fantastic, and the food delicious. A perfect stay.

We stayed at Canad Inns Grand Forks ND over the 2022 holidays to ensure a white Christmas. Mother nature more than complied. Beautiful hotel. Housekeeping exceptional. Aly & Katabi (spelling?) took great care of our room daily. Sparkling clean. Plenty of room supplies/amenities. Both ladies were timely and knocked politely each morning and waited for us to open the door. Front desk people very friendly and professional. The only problem we noticed was our room is directly below the fitness center which was open 24/7. This obviously would be a problem for anybody/anywhere. Important to mention maintenance man Steve is absolutely on top of everything. For instance we had an issue which Steve resolved immediately. Top notch attention and service. Awesome water park with plenty of exciting features for both kids and adults. Aaltos restaurant good service BUT poor food temperatures. This was pretty bad. Also overpriced. Tavern restaurant very good!.....but a bit pricey and slow service. Garbanzos had fair pizza w/little menu variety. Worth mentioning Frances very attentive to all of our needs even on her staff's days off Frances filled in remarkably. Very accommodating for handicap issues. Great property! Looking forward to our next stay!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay, we were a bit concerned from other reviews but we were celebrating a special needs birthday and told them that before booking day of they called us to let us know they were doing something special for us and even looked up road reports due to no travel advised earlier in the day and even said we could cancel if we couldnt make it no charge. On check in we got a birthday card signed by the whole staff and they threw in extras and pizza we stayed on the Penthouse level and it was absolutely worth it! views on the 13th floor were amazing, Waterpark staff were friendly, not too crowded for a weekend with full hotel, concessions cooked fast and hot and they even comped our Waterpark for the next day when I asked where to pay! Amazing people at the Canad Inn and we are sold on their service and hospitality. And my son Keeps talking about the card and how special it made him feel so EXCELLENT JOB STAFF! 👏

Very big hotel and theme rooms were amazing! My son loved the ps4 in his bunkbed room. Arcade was a highlight as the prizes low ticket value so the kids left with alot of stuff. Only downside was limited staff which meant arcade didn't open until 4, and pool was 4-9. Otherwise great trip and location!

This is where I will be working. North Dakota's largest indoor water park 12 floors of great rooms and suites. One of the biggest games rooms I have ever seen. The lazy river is flowing strong . And it has a huge bucket that dumps a heck of a few gallons of water 🌊💦 in a small amount of time. So come on over and take the kids out get yourself a great room, food and drinks for all ages . Fun, comfort, food, swimming, video games for all . Adults don't worry there is food and drinks for you as well.

Wow! Second time I stayed here and seriously impressed with the suite. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Stayed during Covid protocols in effect ad well as some renovations but they did not impact my stay at all.

The room was clean, neat and well put together. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was easy to get there off of I-29 and to get around to other places.

Nothing negative. Ever. You get what you pay for. There are SO many different room options that you don't usually see advertised. This was the best time I've had on a " home away from home " trip. Multiple themed rooms to choose from. Penthouse suites are great, too! This one is their "honeymoon suite". Ignore my scribbles (It's just personal items)

Customer service here was excellent. Thank you to Ivana and Harry for their help upon check-in. There was a mix-up in pet friendly rooms and they were so incredibly helpful and accommodating. The water park was also great. We had children with special needs and the staff kindly turned down the music for us. Playmakers staff were also awesome! The rooms are just ok, but we would definitely go back because of the incredible service!

Very friendly lobby staff. Booked through a third party app and the check in at the hotel was very quick.

Water park was amazing, better than anticipated. A closed slide and open slide, but the best being the funnel tube slide. Definitely recommend staying here if you have a family.

Loved our time here. My husband, baby girl, and I stayed at the hotel, ordered pickup from the tavern and brought it back to our room, and swam at the water park. Very convenient for a mini vacation a five month old.

They were amazing. A mistake was made due to some unclear text but they made everything right. The water park was great and so much fun for kids from 4 to 16. The price was so reasonable as well. Beds were soft and comfortable. Room furniture was nice and clean. Couldn't ask for more.

Great conference e center with a lot of rooms. Well maintained and excellent food. Conference center is spread out, bathrooms are clean, plenty of parking close to the conference center. There are several hotels within walking distance. Most restaurants are a bit of a drive away. Great place.
