Mertz Eileen DVM

We recently had 2 elderly pups die in the same year. Dr. Mertz and her team worked hard to give them quality lives. They saw Mertz most of their lives and both lived very long lives. Dr. Mertz is straight to the point, she does not beat around the bush. Shes smart and has saved us some emergent situations that would be more costly. I appreciate all the care she has provided our pups. We've had sickly dogs before that were very expensive. We've had a few visits to Blue Pearl in the past and to other vet's office, which were costly. Dr. Mertz is reasonably priced in my opinion. If there are coupons available for foods or other products, she has them out to help cut cost. The doggie day camp is $9 on Tuesday for small dogs, $9 on Wednesday for big dogs. That's very affordable compared to other day camps for dogs. When our pups had to be put to sleep, I saw sadness and a few tears on the staff's faces. I would recommend Gardner Animal Hospital, Dr. Meets, and all her staff.

Every one was and is so friendly. They actually care about you and how you feel. There were always hugs and cries with me. They became friends to me.

Took our Rott there several years ago that had gotten into a dog fight.
Dr Mertz did surgery & stitched him up. I thought it was odd they asked if I wanted all these extras like pain meds, anesthesia, etc.
When I picked him up and was given the bill I about jumped out of my skin. She is so over priced and I just didn't get the feeling my dog wascwell cared for. She told me she was sending home antibiotics & pain pills for a few days but when I got home there were no meds. I called the office to tell them they forgot to put them in his bag & she got very argumentative saying she signed for them so I must be lying.
Are you kidding me like I want my dogs meds for myself.
I would never, never take any animals back there.
I truely feel she over charges then your pets don't even get what they need.

Nope. Never again.
