New City Church Edgerton

New City church is awesome! Christ is the focus and He is preached with truth and enthusiasm! Everyone is welcome here, just as Jesus welcomed all who came to Him.
We invite anyone to come and check out this wonderful place of worship. The music is great (and loud). The preaching is always straight from the Bible.
Wear whatever you want. We have people who come in shorts and people who might come in a dress shirt and jacket. Christ is not interested in your clothes. He wants you to know that you are loved by Him no matter your feelings or circumstances. He wants a personal relationship with you directly. This is at the core of what New City Church is all about-introducing you to Christ, then walking with you to help you grow in your relationship with Him. Christ Himself tells us "Go and teach all nations my commands" Matthew 28:18-20. God already loves you as much as he can. He invites you to come and receive His love and a new life in Him.

We love our church so much! Pastor Casey is such a great guy and makes you feel welcome and loved. You can tell he is being genuine and not just looking to get people in the seats. They have excellent children's programming and it is just an all-around great church environment. Nothing is contrived in this place, just real people who love Jesus and will welcome anyone who walks in the door with a huge smile and a hug...but not in a creepy way;-).

I've been disenchanted with churches since moving to the KC area. I had left a good one when we moved to Edgerton. I've tried 5 or 6 other churches and just never felt the same. My wife talked me into trying this one after about a10 year absence from going to church on a regular basis. Boy did the Lord shine on me that day. I immediately felt like I belonged there. I've never really cared for worship music. I'm a metalhead. But something about the way Pete gets up there and plays and sings simply moves me. Sometimes it's just him sometimes there's others with him but whenever he's up there I'm hooked. Pastor Casey always brings his A game for the sermon. I always walk away on Sunday feeling fulfilled by the Lord. Makes me miss being there the Sundays I'm out of town. And finally, all the people that are there in Sunday are all so friendly and welcoming. I highly suggest you come by Sunday at 9 or 10:30 and see for yourself!

Small, if you walk through the doors you'll be treated like a beloved member of the family.

The lead pastor actively engages in exegetical hermeneutics and isn't afraid to preach the True Word of GOD with the positive influence of THE HOLY SPIRIT easily observed

Welcoming, loving church body! God's word clearly taught in truth w/mercy :-). Spirit filled worship that doesn't end with the service! Intentional discipleship, generosity and relationship with one another and the community at large! I so Love this place!!!

So much love in this place, they have to have 3 different services to make room to fit it all! Come visit, jam with us, and see what can happen when God touches your life with his comfort and peace!
